I just finished my internship for a U.S. Representative at DC. There are 9 staff that work in that office and I do plan to send a Christmas card, but do I need to write one for each person or just send one with everyone's name on it?

Also, should I write a separate one for the Representaive even though I've only seen her 3 times while I was working there for 3 months?
-I worked with the staff more closely than the Congresswoman and the most I've done was greet her.

Thanks!

Larry started off by saying to them both, we all know the details of why you each believe what you believe. The people with us tonight are here because they have knowledge of both beliefs systems. So my first question, and I'll let the evolutionist answer it first, how can you be sure, without having a person who was here at the beginning of it all, that what you believe is accurate?

Answer; Well Larry we have so many scientist that have given the results of their research, we know its true, its as if they were actually here from the beginnning, even though we know they were not.

And your answer creationist; Larry we have someone who has been here since the beginning and he has a reputation for having control over all life and can even make a fig tree wilt in a moment. So you see, its His Word, against their science.

btw, this Larry King was not the same guy on cnn, his wife is a mormon and we wanted someone neutral so we got someone with the same name.

Have you red it?

Dan Brown’s wildly popular novel The Da Vinci Code postulates that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married. What do you think?
Could a man be a normal man and still be Divine?

The earth isn't 6000 years old

Mary wasn't a virgin

No one comes back from the dead

Jesus didn't levitate up to space (or where ever heaven is supposed to be)

And nothing is wrong with gay people

Why are people still falling for this gag?

First off, lets agree that rascism means that you believe one race of people is superior to another or that you are prejudiced towards someone based on their race.

If I say to someone, "I don't like your hair" does that mean I don't like that person entirely? Am I being prejudice? Not necessarily. I don't like my sister's hair, and I love her. So my real question is this:

If I don't like a certain stereotype about a race of people, does that make me rascist?

I don't like people from Ecuador because they all ride turtles. That doesn't mean I hate all Ecuadorians does it? Because the truth is I love them. So how can I be rascist towards someone I love? Explain that.

I think some people are afraid of what they really think of other races because they are afraid of being labeled rascist.

if eeryone would look around and help others for a change this world could be ten times better. I wish we really did have a day for everyone to pay it forward all over the world for 24 hours.

I am a graduate student on a tight budget, and I'm participating in AIDS LifeCycle 6 (http://aidslifecycle.org/4895) to raise money for HIV treatment and prevention.

How can I get strangers to donate? Does anyone reading this want to donate?

AIDS LifeCycle (http://www.aidslifecycle.org/4895) is a 545-mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for and awareness about HIV/AIDS.

1,000,000 people in the United States are living with HIV, and money raised by this event will:

* Provide medicine to those who can't afford it
* Counsel HIV+ people about how to get the care they need
* Educate people about HIV prevention

Who can help me?

I've gone into other subjects on Y!A and questions don't seem to get pushed down the list as fast as in this subject. I honestly think it's because so many post here only to ridicule Christians and other religions more than ask an honest question about the religions themselves! What a big waste of time and energy!! If people don't want to be in a part of a religion, why do they need to make fun of the people who have chosen to be in religion? What’s your take?

Is it hard to convince your children to be open minded towards Christians. As Pagan parents, we have taught our children to have tolerance towards other religions. Unfortunately, the negative comments and pushy nature of many of the Christian children they've met at school has soured them towards Christians in general. They basically feel that if most Christians despise our religion and feel it's o.k. to try to frighten us into converting (i.e. "you'll burn in hell"), that Christians in general SHOULD NOT be afforded the open mindedness that they would give to those of less judgmental spiritualities. What do think? Are our kids right? Is asking them to give Christians the benefit of the doubt asking too much of them. Are we, as their parents being too naive and open minded where those of the Christian faith are concerned? Anybody else having this happen in their family?

don't want to... for instance, one time she made NY steak for my roommate and i .... i told her it was delicious, but i am exercising portion control, so i cut it in half and told her i'd eat the other half for lunch tomorrow... she keeps insisting that i eat the other half... and her portion that she cut... i told her nicely that i'm full, and i'll save the other half for lunch. she gets mad and said that it's cooked perfectly and it won't be good tomorrow and i eat it all.. and even tries to force feed me by putting it in my mouth... this is constant at the house... where it's driving me crazy and i'm thinking about moving... i know she is being nice...and motherly...and i should be grateful and appreciative... but i really want to control what i eat... and it's getting annoying... a couple times, i have snapped at her that i don't want whatever she is feeding me....am i over reacting?

today jesus says romans 3;23 and 10-13 for all have sinned come short of the glory of god and for whosever shall call upon the name of the lord shallbe saved.

jesus died rose again shed his blood to wash away our sins.
1 john 1;7 and the blood of jesus christ his son cleaseth us from us from all sin.

if jesus ws never ever born my friends we never have a chance to go to heaven .
we be going to hell ther be no hope i pray who are not saved will get saved.

Okay. So I liked this girl last year. And I was positive that she liked me too, because she was flirting like crazy, and gazing at me for long amounts of time. So I told her I liked her and she rejected me. Now, this year, she's slowly letting me catch her looking at me, and showing off around me, while her two closest friends are being really nice to me, and one of the mutual friends I have with this girl told me "someone confided something with her, that has to do with me", but won't tell me what it is.
