On this planet as on all, you can not tell a sad child anything.

Must they not experience it for themselves? To learn and grow?

It is because of this you are your fathers child.

It is not possible to put an old head on young shoulders? is it?

It is frustrating watching your child make the same mistakes you made? is it not?

Angry you get? Don’t you?

Sad you get, to see your child suffer.

Why can you not see your are all inside each other’s heads!

Come back to your own and look out for it is coming.

i'm from the Philippines and we celebrate Christmas here. Everywhere you go, you would see a lot of "parols", star-shaped light decorations hung in their houses. Every streets you would see a lot of decorations and children caroling just to earn money. Because the Philippines is a Catholic nation, we have a tradition in attending "noche buena", in which a roasted ham is the main dish together with a lot of desserts but only rich families can afford. The poor just eat bread or "champorado" or even noodles but they are still happy. Christians, Catholics or Protestants, would attend an evening mass with their family at exactly 12:00 NN so cities and towns and even villages wouyld be sleepless. Non-christians, respect Christmas here (e.g. Muslims, Hindus etc.) For example, Muslim schools everywhere in the Philippines suspend their classes as a sign of respect.

But all I can say is Filipinos share their love and happiness with God in their loved ones during Xmas.

What about you?

I didnt kill anyone and i dont support these violent actions like billions of Muslims in the world. Why are you obssessed with Muslims and making generalizations because of some jerks?

If your brother/sister has stolen a car, would you be a thief too because you have lots of things in common and you have a connection? If thats ok, then i take it, go ahead and keep on making generalizations.

yet they accuse the Christians and Muslims of being violent, isn't that hypocritical. The atheists are constantly mocking, insulting and violating others. The Christians and Muslims seem a lot more passive and tolerant.

Do ALL Muslims wish harm on Christians and Jews?
Are there non-violent Muslims and violent Muslims?
If there's a difference, why won't non-violent Muslims disassociate themselves from the radicals?

The Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT) is trying to recoup up to $1.3 million lost in failed AND FRAUDULENT CHURCH PLANTS, some of which existed only on paper. A late October report revealed that most convention churches started in the Rio Grande Valley from 1999 to 2005 have failed. Among 258 congregations started by three pastors in seven years, only 5 still gather.
No doubt its a bad thing WHEN PASTORS TAKE MONEY to plant churches either using it carelessly or simply STEALING IT.

Greed can entangle church leaders or blind them to wrongdoing, said Barry Minkow, founder of the Fraud Discovery Institute. "WE'RE GREEDY FOR NUMBERS so we can tell people we're effective, which makes us vulnerable on the ministry side," Minkow said.
Hope seems to spring eternal for the faithful and its not only TV evangelical pastors who know how to huckster it!
