This statement was posted by a reader of YnetNews.com:

"Actually, the name gog as spelled in the orignal Hebrew has no dagesh in either gimmel. If you play with the soft g sound, and add an r you get...........
GEORGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

It seems like a bit of a stretch to insert the "r" sound, making "Gog" read "George." Could someone give me a phonetic spelling of the correct pronunciation of Gog?

have 15 girl scouts and 2 assistant leaders. Needless to say, I am not able to spend much. I am throwing a party next Tuesday for the troop but since I gave gifts last year I am afraid the girls (ages 7-9) will expect them again this year.

What small gifts could I give the scouts and what could I give my two assistants?

Just like normal people tell each other "good morning" and "good night", if I have a friend who is Satanic should I wish him an "evil morning" and "evil night?"

please, do not tell me neither!

because it's happening, there are little teenager girls who have sex with their boyfriend or school mate without their family kowledge. means those little girls do have desires.

so from a religious point of view, is it better if she has sex with her boyfriend or with her husband?

Take away all the bullsh it like we can choose where we are going to go today and what clothes were going to wear crap like that. While doing research on the topic I came across some very interesting arguments on wether or not we have free will. One was our free will is proof that god does not exist. Another was free will cannot exist if predestination exist what we call free will would be limited to it's divine plan. God gave us free will but it is through his infinite understanding so we are more like characters in a book it seems like we have free will but really it is all part of God's will. I don't know who or what God is or if he even exist. So, if we do have free will it seems like it will always be shaped by society. It seems like in way we will never truely have free will.

peace and blessings to all,
I am not a Christian but have a very high respect for Christianity and the Bible. I think it is so sad that both of the major CHristian holidays have been so commercialized.

the date(Sol Invictus) and the tree both come from pagan traditions. and while the manger is biblically rooted it is grossly inaccurate. and what easter has to do with that gigantic rabbit i'll never know.

my question is, what is the Christian view point on all of this? are there any Christians trying to restore these holidays to their true meaning?

peace and blessings to all,
Sakina

"For that cause We decreed for the Children of Israel that whosoever killeth a human being for other than man slaughter or corruption in the earth , it shall be as if be had killed all mankind , and whoso saveth the life of one , it shall be as if he had : saved the life of all mankind . Our messengers came unto them of old with clear proofs ( of Allah ' s sovereignty ) , but afterwards lo! many of them became prodigals in the earth ."
