Just like normal people tell each other "good morning" and "good night", if I have a friend who is Satanic should I wish him an "evil morning" and "evil night?"

I'm a Satanist and tend not to assign things an innate moral quality. To me, good is that which is beneficial and healthy. Evil is that which is needlessly self-destructive. I prefer a good morning and a good evening (with slight undertones of wickedness).

Just thought I'd throw that in here to clear the air for my Christian friends that will rush in here to answer your question.

That said, I can't really imagine that anyone wonders this. No one would go up to someone and say "Evil morning" except as a joke with a friend, putting this question in the inane category.

Most Satanists don't think Hell is a real place, either because they're "LaVeyan" and don't believe in an afterlife, or because they're Theistic Satanists who don't utilize Christianity as part of their paradigm. EDIT: "This Life is the After Life!" is talking about reverse Christianity and that is NOT Satanism. "Jay" has the right idea.

Probably not, it's not the custom. Satan and God are flip sides of the same coin. Yin and yang. There's no light without darkness, no good without evil, no Jedi without Sith. These polar opposites define and complete each other. In other words God cannot exist without Satan and vice versa.

In the Genesis story, if Adam & Eve hadn't "sinned" they'd still be in the Garden, fat and happy and dumb and you and I would never have existed. So how can sin be such a bad thing? It's a necessary part of creation.

No. Satanists don't believe in Satan, they just believe in the self and self-fulfillment. They spiritually advance by enjoying themselves, so they'll prefer a good morning or good night.

Satanists don't worship Satan? They worship self and self fulfilment? Sorry - but that is still serving Satan - whether we want to believe it or not. Also - yes it is evil - just for the record.

Just include satanists in your definition of 'normal people' and use good morning.

True LeVay-ian Satanists are not "evil" as the Christian church portrays them. Odds are you want to treat them the same as everyone else.

No, treat him like everyone else. Besides if he is Satanic, and I'm assuming he's LaVeyan, then he doesn't worship evil.

just treat him like you would treat anyone else, maybe even sweeter and let them know the love and joy of the world around him, but no pressuring your beliefs, you'll push him away

"Hello" and a smile is good enough, you don't really wish evil upon him do you?
