i'm not here to discriminate muslims. i juist wanna know how muslims feel when they are always being mocked at day by day. would it make you stronger or would it causes you to give up your religion? i just wanna know. honest answers please be sincere and no derogatory comments. :)

The debate about creationism vs evolution on these boards is truly mind boggling. There is so much evidence to back up evolution, and none to back up creationism except belief. I must point out though, that there is nothing wrong with belief.

My concern is with those who continually lie and decieve to support their views about creationism. If you want to believe it, thats fine, but using deceit to try and persuade others is just wrong. Wouldn't the christian churches consider it a sin to lie?

I did 3 years of 6 years medical course in Russia due some reasons I didn't complete it. Please tell me if continuing my medical course in under-developed country like Russia is better or to start with a new course like nursing, health science in a developed country is better?

So i have been scared since the age of 6. When i was younger they did kinda bother me a bit, but people kept tellin me 'oh nobody notices them' Anyways i tend not to date (I'm gay by the way) or look for that special someone because of this. I just would be interested in some feedback. The nicest thing anyone has said is "Scars are just natures tatoo's"

Is there any proof that the Name allah was that of a moon god. What is the significance of this in the light of the claims of islam that allah is the same as Jehovah the creator. Is it really the same god or is it some fake, are we all being duped?

Hearing that U.S. population increased 50% since 1967 and that world population has nearly doubled in 60 years, do we sometimes think that it's not so bad that millions are killed in Darfur, that "ethnic cleansing" goes on, that abortions take place . . . as long as it doesn't affect us directly. Do we largely ignore these "Not In My Back Yard" events because we subconsciously worry about overpopulation? Ever think about that?

from a past question on America, most responses stressed on other nations being jealous because of all America had. which points me back to ignorance... I'm South African and i wouldnt move for ****. we're democratic as well, freedom of speech prevails and i am lucky to live in an age where i'm young black, female and have so much more than my parents had in the past. i have a great job, fiance... live in a home with clean running water, sanitation etc. i can party 'til 6 in the morning, enter any place without being thrown out. i can vote, i went to great, expensive private schools. i can choose to be any religion i want to be. i'm deeply rooted into my culture though. and i know where i'm from and who my fore fathers are/were. i'm not a prisoner in my own country and being 21 ans with such access to so many things... i dont see any reason why i should be intimidated or scared of America... f**k i'm living a perfectly normal life. So what makes America think other countries dont have

The question is simple will a North or East Indian, if given a chance or having a need to opt to learn a Dravidian language, will he/she learn ?

that doesn`t mean that jesus is son ogf god.
Even the Quran called Jesus the son of Mary, Isa Almaseh ibn Maryam, as "Kalimatullah", the Word of God. he is a miracle of god;he created him with a word of him.
All muslims beleive in jesus as great prophet.
IT came later, from his followers, in Acts. He acknowledeged being the son of God, but I think that was in the same sense that all of us are children of God.

in her book BIOGRAPHY OF A PROPHET she even defends islamic terroism and polygamy. she even states that its the duty of muslim women to be submissive to men. As you know karen armstrong was a catholic nun for 10 years (her book THROUGH THE NARROW GATE tells how submissive she was as a nun)

I have read all her books and reading her life story makes me understand that she is a woman with no self esteem whatsoever.

could this be the reason as to why she keeps been a continueous apologist to islam and muslims?

from the "science and mathematics' section, people use a more educated vocabulary and the misspellings aren't anywhere near what they are in other sections. Go to Physics if you want to feel stupid or even if you think you're so smart answering questions in Beauty and Style or home and garden. Not to insult those that answer there, I have, I am using that as an example, Harvard Physics- Community College Gardening.

...lie? Children are so honest, and say whatever is on their minds. But most parents have criticized and sometimes punish their children for these words, so over time, they learn to lie or keep quiet (also lying by way of omission). So are we really not able to handle the truth?
