You tell me! If God forgave men why can't he forgive the devil? It is a logical question & has nothing to do with Christianity.
The logic would say that because the Devil is incorrigible. He has chosen that state of disobedience. That is why those who follow same behavior or pattern of living will be condemned with him however they are given a chance to be forgiven in this life if they want to. This is what the whole bible is all about. Men are given a chance to be forgiven if they take it they are saved of not then they have chosen it this way!
The devil is created as well so as all creature. Meaning that he cannot reach the level of being a real enemy to the Only God. He is also given a chance to stop his wicked ways. Why can't he? Everyday you see in the world killings, fights, wars, poverty? He just doesn't stop his evil ways! He has chosen this way.

God would forgive the Devil. The Devil will not ask for forgiveness. If the Devil ask for forgiveness then he would recieve it, but he is too proud and will not humble himself before God.

Because the devil had information that we don't have.
He was in the presence of God, knowing and experiencing God's glory and rebeled anyway. He made a conscience decision to rebel against God when he intimately knew who God was. He was not a living being like us with limited knowledge, having sinned, asked to repent and put his trust in Christ as we humans are. He was already there. So when he rebeled his choice was actualized, never to be forgiven. Our choice is actualized at our death.
When I say we have limited knowledge, I don't mean our knowledge of God's existence is insufficient for belief in Him. God has given light to every man through His creation and our conscience. And if we deny this evidence of Him and choose to not follow Him (by refusing to repent of sin and putting our trust in Christ to save us) we end up in hell. While we are still alive though we still have an opportunity to be saved. As long as we are alive we still have a choice. Satan's choice was already made at his fall from grace.

At one time Satan was a perfect angel. Then he, at his choice as a perfect creature, brought to issue the sovereignty of God.
Once it is settled that man can, and at free will, worship the True God, and follow in the footsteps of his Son, Satan and his band of demons will be destroyed.
As pointed out in Revelation, he remains an enemy to the bitter end, and his destruction is the end justice.
Anyway, if you are an atheist, would any answer really satisfy you?

This is why I love atheists, you force us to think. Good question!
Here's how I understand it. God forgives all those who ask for it. But first there has to be sincere repentance for the sins and at least an attempt to atone. You know how 12 steppers have to apologize to those they wronged and mean it? Similar deal. Unless Satan admits that he's in error, he can't be forgiven.
There's also Christ's dictum to love our enemies. You can love someone, not hate them for wronging you, and still not excuse what they did against you if they haven't repented themselves and tried to atone.
That's the best I can explain it right now. I hope it makes a little sense?

Satan (through arrogance) sinned by desiring to take God's place. He did this WITH NO EXTERNAL SOURCE OF TEMPTATION. He began in uncorrupted nature, and defiled his own nature without anyone or anything to tempt him.
Therefore how could a sacrifice be provided?
MANKIND FELL DUE TO THE TEMPTATION OF SATAN as an external source. Which makes mankind a candidate for grace.
One was tempted, one was without temptation and without excuse, VERY GOOD QUESTION, I sympathize with atheists, with so much confusing information and issues our there, it must be hard to make the decision to believe, I can only say that I have studied the original languages because I had to know for myself, logically, scientificaly, and otherwise. I learned from berachah church.org, an organization which sticks to the original languages and does objective study. Christ has blessed both my family and myself in so many ways, and the only way you will ever find out for yourself is to KEEP ON ASKING QUESTIONS.

One God fills all space, so where does evil actually exist? How can God forgive something that was not made, but only seems real to a race that believes in itself as a creator and entity apart from God. You need to understand the spiritual reality of creation as oposed to the material "dream" reality that we are "seemingly" in bondage to in this age.
There is a little voice in each of us and some, for a season, are able to deny and silence this voice. Eventually, everyone will listen and hear.
For now (in this present age) the material evidence is overwhelming to the weary searcher.
