Hi there... There are a few people who go to great lengths trying to insult Islam.. and I don't get angry... I just feel bad for them.. for their ignorance.. When people critisize... I open my Holy Qur'an and refer, and read... and guess what? My faith becomes stronger... and I feel really bad for them, coz their minds are so narrow, that they believe what they see & quote without understanding what they read... But, it is always encouraging to come across people who ask sincere questions about Islam.. just to get to know Islam better... and not come here to make judgements or insult... like you! :)
Peace to all!

We are all humans and feel the same thing. If i throw stones on you and you're hit, wouldn't it be hurting you? Feeling the pain and won't go. We are all in one race ... The Human Race... though we have a lot of differences; might be in colours, nationality, features, cultures and religion; we are the same in our needs...food, water, clothing and shelter. We all aspire for one common goal .. to live our life to the fullest... whatever or how you attain it, its your course.....I think the feeling is always mutual.
As a Muslim I will never give up my religion nor deny it because of peoples hatred. I will always understand the lack of understanding and knowdledge of the people who hate it; why? because they don't want to understand it.. they just close themselves to it. I think If I would ask the same question to all other religions; they will react the same thing. How about you, Do you have any religion? what will be your reaction if you were in the same shoes?

I am not Muslim but my husband is... Yes, Muslims are being mocked here every day. People who do not understand Islam or who want to distort the truth attack and mock them on a daily basis. When I defend them I am attacked as well and receive hate mail from some of them. I would never turn my back on Islam because of these people. It just makes me more determined to learn more about my husband's beliefs.

asalamualikum brother .
u really posed a very good q`.
our qar-an speaks that " VA quljaa al haqqu wa zahkalbatil innala baatila kaana zahooqa " means " when truth is held against falsehood the falsehood perishes indeed the falsehood is born to be perished ".
so we need not fear when some one criticizes us r Islam we get angry but take it easy remembering the above verse .
no true Muslim ( one who knows perfectly about Islam ) will give .up Islam

I don't get angry . Islam teaches us that we are a people with a mission to the world. our message is love , peace , and equality.
I know i'm on the right path so nothing really upsets me about some remarks.
it's either ignorance which makes it my duty to try to help. or it prejudice which makes also my duty to try to help.
Allah told Mohammad ( o Mohammad we have truly sent you as a mercy to mankind ) yes we are a mercy to mankind and we will always be no matter what.
thank you for bringing the issue up.

There are people here who like nothing more than to insult as many people as they can and they do not usually discriminate on what religion they pick on as long as they get a rise from someone. Fortunately many of the people who truly belief passionately about whatever their faith is, have learned that ignorance knows no bounds and have adapted enough to simply ignore it. I hope that is what many of the muslims here will do as they have as much a right to respect for their opinions as the Christian, buddhist, wiccan, Jew, pagan, satanist, or atheist. Peace to all this Christmas season...merry yule, happy hanukkah, happy kwanzaa, whatever applies. May the joy of the season not be limited by your intolerance of any or their intolerance of you. Keep the light shining.

OK, how can one NOT insult a religion where there isn't a huge outcry from "moderates" when there's a news story like this? If this occured in a Christian nation, people would lose their minds over it. I'll bet we don't hear a peep of counter-protest from even a dozen Muslims.
Oh, and to those who gave me a thumbs down, what have you ever done for the rights of Muslim women?
Pakistani Islamists protest against pro-women law Sun Dec 10, 11:22 AM ET
KARACHI (Reuters) - Thousands of Islamist protesters demonstrated in southern Pakistan on Sunday against a new law that reduces the burden of proof on rape victims by allowing them to seek justice without the need for four male witnesses.

The Women Protection Bill, signed into law last month, was seen as a key test for President Pervez Musharraf's philosophy of "enlightened moderation" for his predominantly Muslim country.
The protest in the country's biggest city of Karachi came a day after Musharraf ruled out any changes to the law despite calls from the Islamists.
Some 10,000 supporters of the Islamist parties, most of them bearded, chanted slogans of "Down with Musharraf" and "Down with the Women Protection Law" at the rally and demanded the government scrap the law.
