John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word,..Word was God" John 1:14 "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
that doesn`t mean that jesus is son ogf god.
Even the Quran called Jesus the son of Mary, Isa Almaseh ibn Maryam, as "Kalimatullah", the Word of God. he is a miracle of god;he created him with a word of him.
All muslims beleive in jesus as great prophet.
IT came later, from his followers, in Acts. He acknowledeged being the son of God, but I think that was in the same sense that all of us are children of God.
in quran:
Menaing: O people of the Book! Commit no excesses in your religion: nor say of Allah ought but truth. Christ Jesus the son of Mary was an Apostle of Allah and His Word, which He bestowed

The term "the only begotten Son" means that he was the only thing directly created by God....Almighty God. As it mentions...the beginning of his way.....as a Creator.

Scriptures to support this?

Below is a description of wisdom personified. As well as information regarding your translation of John 1:1.
What do you think?

“Jehovah himself produced me as the beginning of his way, the earliest of his achievements of long ago. 23 From time indefinite I was installed, from the start, from times earlier than the earth. 24 When there were no watery deeps I was brought forth as with labor pains, when there were no springs heavily charged with water. 25 Before the mountains themselves had been settled down, ahead of the hills, I was brought forth as with labor pains, 26 when as yet he had not made the earth and the open spaces and the first part of the dust masses of the productive land. 27 When he prepared the heavens I was there; when he decreed a circle upon the face of the watery deep, 28 when he made firm the cloud masses above, when he caused the fountains of the watery deep to be strong, 29 when he set for the sea his decree that the waters themselves should not pass beyond his order, when he decreed the foundations of the earth, 30 then I came to be beside him as a master worker, and I came to be the one he was specially fond of day by day, I being glad before him all the time, 31 being glad at the productive land of his earth, and the things I was fond of were with the sons of men.
- Proverbs 8:22-31

As far as the "proof text" that you mentioned at John 1:1?

AT JOHN 1:1 the King James Version reads: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Trinitarians claim that this means that “the Word” (Greek, ho lo′gos) who came to earth as Jesus Christ was Almighty God himself.

Note, however, that here again the context lays the groundwork for accurate understanding. Even the King James Version says, “The Word was with God.” (Italics ours.) Someone who is “with” another person cannot be the same as that other person. In agreement with this, the Journal of Biblical Literature, edited by Jesuit Joseph A. Fitzmyer, notes that if the latter part of John 1:1 were interpreted to mean “the” God, this “would then contradict the preceding clause,” which says that the Word was with God.

At John 1:1 there are two occurrences of the Greek noun the·os′ (god). The first occurrence refers to Almighty God, with whom the Word was (“and the Word [lo′gos] was with God [a form of the·os′]”). This first the·os′ is preceded by the word ton (the), a form of the Greek definite article that points to a distinct identity, in this case Almighty God (“and the Word was with [the] God”).

On the other hand, there is no article before the second the·os′ at John 1:1. So a literal translation would read, “and god was the Word.” Yet we have seen that many translations render this second the·os′ (a predicate noun) as “divine,” “godlike,” or “a god.” On what authority do they do this?

The Koine Greek language had a definite article (“the”), but it did not have an indefinite article (“a” or “an”). So when a predicate noun is not preceded by the definite article, it may be indefinite, depending on the context.

The Journal of Biblical Literature says that expressions “with an anarthrous [no article] predicate preceding the verb, are primarily qualitative in meaning.” As the Journal notes, this indicates that the lo′gos can be likened to a god. It also says of John 1:1: “The qualitative force of the predicate is so prominent that the noun [the·os′] cannot be regarded as definite.”

So John 1:1 highlights the quality of the Word, that he was “divine,” “godlike,” “a god,” but not Almighty God. This harmonizes with the rest of the Bible, which shows that Jesus, here called “the Word” in his role as God’s Spokesman, was an obedient subordinate sent to earth by his Superior, Almighty God.

There are many other Bible verses in which almost all translators in other languages consistently insert the article “a” when translating Greek sentences with the same structure. For example, at Mark 6:49, when the disciples saw Jesus walking on water, the King James Version says: “They supposed it had been a spirit.” In the Koine Greek, there is no “a” before “spirit.” But almost all translations in other languages add an “a” in order to make the rendering fit the context. In the same way, since John 1:1 shows that the Word was with God, he could not be God but was “a god,” or “divine.”

Joseph Henry Thayer, a theologian and scholar who worked on the American Standard Version, stated simply: “The Logos was divine, not the divine Being himself.” And Jesuit John L. McKenzie wrote in his Dictionary of the Bible: “Jn 1:1 should rigorously be translated . . . ‘the word was a divine being.’”

No Christian goes around saying they are the Son of God, the most High. There was only one Son of God, born of Mary who was chosen by God to be His host and give him flesh.
Jesus pointed out time and time again in the synagogue, all the prophets words to prove to them that He was the Messiah.
He brought to the world the New Covenant for all people, that is why the curtain of the temple was torn in two, the promise was completed. Jesus suffered and died for our sins and the gates of Heaven were reopened.
But by faith alone can anyone believe who Jesus Christ is not by books or arguments or war.. only with the eyes of faith and a heart that is open to the truth.

Adam was a son of God. Jesus was born of the power of the Holy Spirit that allowed Mary to become pregnant although a virgin. Jesus was more the son of God then Adam, because although born in a corrupt world, Jesus did the will of God perfectly. Adam, although born in paradise, did not follow the will of God but his own will, so is a lesser son than Jesus. Because we are descended from Adam and followers of Christ, we too can be true children of God, by doing God's will.

Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophecies concerning Messiah, one of which was Isaiah 7:14 concerning the miraculous virgin birth!

Behold, The Lord (Jehovah, Yahweh, or Jah, NOT allah) Himself shall give you a sign; a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call him Immanuel, (which interpreted means "God with us")

This was written 700 B.C. !

Since He did not have a human father, who do you think WAS His father??? Mary said that the angel Gabriel said it was God and that's good enough for me, you want to argue with Gabriel?

Do yourself a favor and read the proofs given by some of the ones before me (especially Passerby and also Niguayona) about the sonship of Jesus, they are really quite good and if your heart is open to the truth, maybe you just might see the light....

Try praying to the true God: Jehovah, the Ancient of Days, the Father of Lights, the Good Shepherd and see what happens.

Jesus made some pretty clear declarations that he was the Son of God.

This is what Jesus says in the Book of Matthew:

"When the Son of Man (Jesus, as he calls himself) comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him... Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world."
Matthew 25:31-34.

Sorry. Take a closer look. He says this kind of stuff through all 4 books.

ya, i don't quite get your point. do you have questions about the trinity, or were you just making a statement contesting your word against the bible's? jesus was god speaking his word. everybody that can't understand the trinity is trying too hard. god the father (all knowing and understanding), god the son (jesus speaking god's word), and god the spirit (the driving force that compels us as christians). everyone tries to contest it like its a biological matter, when in fact it is much simpler than that. god exists outside time and space, he is all powerful, he can exist on three planes as the same thing. the bible has lasted for nearly two millenia, you won't find a contradiction within it, if you believe you have then you have taken it out of context or are misinterpreting it.

Jesus performed many miracles that were witnessed by others. Muhammad never performed a miracle. Jesus stated that He was sent by the Father. That if we know Him, we know the Father. People from miles around heard of His birth and traveled to see Him. As a young boy he was teaching the temple leaders and they were even amazed at how much He knew and started wondering if He truly was the Messiah that God promised them. Jesus endured a lot as a human during His sufferings and death. Not mere mortal could have even survived the scourging. There were witnesses of His resurrection. Jesus was born to a virgin.

Muhammad was born to a human mother and father. She wasn't a virgin. Muhammad stated that an angel came to him and told him things and we then told people and they believed. A definition of a cult.
Muhammad was a sinner, he even admitted it. He died and that was it. He was a false prophet.

To begin with Jesus WAS and still IS the son of Mary. He is also the Son of God. And as for "Allah", that is just the ancient Arabic name for God. Modern Jews and many Christians still use the ancient Hebrew name for God which is Eloheim or Elohi. So get over yourself and realize that you worship the same God as Christians. Learn how to read and educate yourself.

I am sorry that you follow one of the worlds greatest false Prophets. Undeniable proof has outlined that mo not only was he a womanizer killed for the fun of it but his so called words of God were not given to him not by God but by Satan. Yes he spoke of good things to begin with but as he got stronger he changed much of what he said he was told. Jesus never killed he said love thine enemies Mo said kill the infidel God loved his created world and all those that live in it. Mo wanted to destroy as many non Muslims as he could. Historical facts prove Mo made up most of his pathetic sayings. ^00 years after Jesus died a claim by Mo that Jesus was not crucified when many facts and historical documents declare he was. Don't follow the false Prophet ask God who you should follow and look for the signs Yes i have read the Quarn the Hadith and the Sira not just one translation from Arabic but many and all are full of contradiction.
Humanitarians can never accept Mo as a Prophet
