So i have been scared since the age of 6. When i was younger they did kinda bother me a bit, but people kept tellin me 'oh nobody notices them' Anyways i tend not to date (I'm gay by the way) or look for that special someone because of this. I just would be interested in some feedback. The nicest thing anyone has said is "Scars are just natures tatoo's"
If you want to see said scars you can on you tube, remember they were done courtesy of a hot chippan. Heres the link;

I've seen alot worse. don't worry about them. my leg is scarred from being shot in desert storm, i don't let it bother me. in fact I'm proud of it. a scar is not who you are but how you got them helped shape who you are.. i would date you without worrying about scars. so get out and enjoy yourself .it's time

It is a horrid fact but a lot of folks are turned off by others scars and and even disabilities, they don't take the time to see the person within. I once overheard a gal say she broke up with her GF because the car accident left her GF scared. I wanted to rip her head off.
WE all have some form of scars-inner and outer- and we all should remember that.
What shows on the outside is not the person within.
Thers is a special someone out there for you-someone who will look within.

Honestly, You have nothing to worry about. I know I'm a woman, but scars can actually be a little sexy!! It shows you've been through tough things in life and survived!

Don't let your outside stop you from finding happiness.

First remember that in life when you really find someone that loves you, truthfully....they love you for the inside and not the outside. I know this sounds superficial...but it is a fact. So my answer is yes..if I love someone...I don't care what scars they have or any other things wrong with them.

I would guess that outside of people who have / had problems with SI, it shouldn't be too big a deal.
