2 wrongs don't make a right. She needs to stop being so involved with guys. There is no need to make the situation worse by getting married. These little girls have the desire to fit in and impress people. They need to learn how to get self esteem from other areas. This lifestyle is just the road to teen pregnancy and poverty, and possibly an abusive marriage.

Well I would definitely say neither, 14 year olds should NOT be having sex!!
But since you said not say neither I will say that I do not believe a 14 year old is anywhere near old enough to be married. At 14 you are not mature and are not the person you will grow up to be, you will change a lot. I don't think a marriage starting at 14 would have much chance.
Now I have to say that if you are 14 or anywhere near that age and are or are thinking of becoming sexually active you really should talk to your parents. There are things you need to know. Of course there is pregnancy, which at 14 your mind and body are not ready for, but there are worse things as well. You could get a variety of disease, some fatal.
If you are going to have sex please please be careful.

Just from a common sense stand point, she's too young! No one should be having sex at 14, they are not mature enough to handle the responsiblities it brings. Don't sit there and condone that behavior! It's wrong!
This is not centuries ago when the life expectancy was so short and the need to have kids was great. Now adays, that is still a minor and should not be going out and sleeping with anyone! It's called pedophilia and statatory rape.
I"ve heard cases of six year old boys who know what sex is. Do you suggest they go out and have sex with adults because they know about it? I don't think so. So why allow a 14 year old CHILD!

Of course it is happening...and has been happening for a long time. It was normal hundreds of years ago for girls to be married off by the time they were 14, or as soon as they became a "woman". But at some point we as a society decided that kids could be kids until they were 18 or 21 depending on what country you live in. So in the spirit of the law, at 14 in the USA you are not considered old enough to have consensual sex. Nor are you permitted to get married. (In most states).
I don't know of any 14 year old boy or girl mature enough to understand and honer the vows of marriage. Marriage is a lifetime commitment...it is not disposable as so many seem to believe.
It is our job as parents to do our best to ensure the safety of our children, and that includes protecting them from themselves! So many people seem to think that once your child is 13 or 14 it is okay for them to be home alone after school for hours...I don't believe that. The older my children get the more I feel they need my presence at home during the times they would most likely get into trouble. Which is why I work weird hours. At my home myself or my husband is home with our children ALL THE TIME. Yes, it is hard. Yes, many times we sleep alone and pass in the hallway, but the safety of our children is just more important to us than ourselves right now. If we keep our children from making a life-altering mistake by being home and working oppisit shifts, so be it. We brought them into this world and we will do all we can to raise them correctly. It is not that I don't trust them, but kids are thoughtless and don't understand real consequesnces of some behaviors.
If your looking for someone to tell you it's okay to have sex at the age of 14 married or no...well I am sure some will say yes or get married to justify the sex. But I cannot. A 14 year old doesn't need it...reguardless of what they "want". Or what "desires" they may or may not have. It's called self-control. It requires parental guidance. And I personally don't know of any pastor or preist that will disagree with me.

You say we have to choose one of your scenarios, yet neither one of them are realistic or doable from a religious point of view. So whether you like the answer or not, neither one is "better".
Yes, 14 year old girls have desires, but for the most part they are not sexual. Their desire is to be loved, to have the boy paying his attention to her, to "ensnare" a man so she can have a husband to care for her.
So my advice would be for education, to teach these girls that the desire to have a husband is a good thing, as is the desire to conceive a child, but they are going about in the wrong way. We should teach them it is better to wait and get a good one than get stuck with some loser because you cannot practice a little thing we grownups call "self-control".

This is so hard to answer. I don't want you to condone sin but I think they are too young to be married. There is no easy answer. Speaking as a mother - I would go get birth control. I would try to talk with her I guess. Speaking as a Christian, they should stop and get right with God. My daughter had a baby at age 18 and she was raised in the church - so I reallly understand. Once a baby is brought into the picture - things really get much harder. Sorry I can't be of more help.

From a religious point of view it's perhaps better that they marry. From a cultural point of view it's seldom practical. Few boys that young can provide a home and support a family.

This is a real problem in America really! They condemn other countries for customs in marraige, yet their rate of teenage pregnancies astounds me.
Being from Southern Sicily, many teenagers are married there to men much older. It is a cultural thing. Pregnancy without marraige is still considered an act of severe shame! But, then again, it seems like America doesnt really care too much for women, they all just want to play and have fun and look like slutty pop singers.
Marraige is better I think!
