Slash from Guns n Roses. He'd stand there, guitar wailing, top hat and Marlborough hanging out and just rock out, on the edge of a cliff or something. The aliens at that point would understand that we rock and give us all their technology and submit to us.

Jackie Chan could wait in the wings in case there was any funny business (or Steven Seagal)

I would choose Oprah Winfrey because she can talk on any topic under the sun. As in Hollywood movies, most Aliens speak English so no big deal.

We are all ambassadors for higher intelligence, as we all have a spirit
within. My spirit has been called a number of times to fight in the spirit world.
Once, as a security guard at a Peace Conference between worlds. I
had to keep an assassin from getting in and disrupting it.
Another time I fought other warrior spirits and won a glowing blue stone.
Last thing I remember was calling out to Michael to help me return it
to where it belonged!

Somebody's who's been all over the world. Somebody who has experienced both riches and poverty. Somebody pleasing-looking and non-threatening. 30's to 50's. Well-rounded, humble, diplomatic.

Who specifially fits the bill, I'm not sure.

It depends on whether they come in peace or for war. If the former, we already have the UN body to decide. If the latter, see former.
