I am a graduate student on a tight budget, and I'm participating in AIDS LifeCycle 6 (http://aidslifecycle.org/4895) to raise money for HIV treatment and prevention.

How can I get strangers to donate? Does anyone reading this want to donate?

AIDS LifeCycle (http://www.aidslifecycle.org/4895) is a 545-mile bicycle ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money for and awareness about HIV/AIDS.

1,000,000 people in the United States are living with HIV, and money raised by this event will:

* Provide medicine to those who can't afford it
* Counsel HIV+ people about how to get the care they need
* Educate people about HIV prevention

Who can help me?

I can't give an extra money. Is this charity a 501(c)(3)...I have a website where we can create a web page for you. It's a virtual mall where people can use your page to click on links to merchants they shop at on the internet. A portion of the proceeds of qualified purchases goes to the charity of your choice. We do take a very small portion of proceeds to pay for expenses. It's a non profit company with no employees and no salaries. If you know a lot of people that will use your page for internet shopping, it's worth a shot. www.trilliantcreations.org. Good luck.

You can talk to a Lawyer and set a non profit organization to let people know what you want to do for AID and HIV. People will not give money if he or she does not get taxes break. You can get help from The law firm that does Pro-Bo-no and the fee for advice is free. Meanwhile, You advertise your Non Profit through Yahoo Answer. But You need to be Honest and Clean about Your budget and expense. People will respect a person who is honest and get a job done. Good luck and I will help you.

You should make up a writen PSA public service announcement of sorts, explain what you are doing and trying to accomplish. And set out to every business in the area. Asking for sponsorship. Ask people to individuals to pledge toward your goal, so much money per mile. Good luck and I wish you great success in this endeavor. I also wish I could offer some monetary support, however at this time I am unavailable. However, I will do what I can, I will keep you in my prayers, that God will put you in the direction to get accomplished your goal so that you will have great success. As you should also ask him to assist you, all it takes is faith the size of a mustard seed. What you are working on is a great opportunity as well as a very important task. Good luck and God bless****
