Let me preface this by saying that I have not ever done this, nor will I, nor do I encourage anyone to try this. Just a hypothetical question.

When I have sent out letters/Christmas cards there are times when I fail to put sufficient postage on the envelope or fail to address the envelope. In each case, the post office returns the envelope to me since my name and address are in the return address portion of the envelope.

What if I addressed the envelope to me with the actual recipient marked as the return address and tried to send it out without sufficient postage. Would the post office return the letter to the person who is listed in the return address (who is actually the person I would be trying to send the letter to).

Does anyone know the real reason wh it is that the Holy Bible continually refers to Jesus as "A carpenter"? Maybe it's a message from God???? Like perhaps his name???

Think of someone you know that is not religious: Are they ethical? If they accepted God into their life, would they SUDDENLY be more ethical? Some gangster rappers believe in God, yet they talk about killing and dealing drugs while some athiest do neither... What do you think?

mindset have we also gone too far? Have we as a whole thrown to the wayside and utterly abandoned basic etiquette? I just went to a wonderful Ballet of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker. I am not too upset that the masses applauded in the wrong spots but what I dont understand is where is the respect for the arts and knowing the etiquette for such occassions? I mean I wore the appropriate attire coat and tie and the majority of adult men and women wore the proper attire (coat and tie and the ladies either a dress or dress slacks) but the rest wore like t-shirts and jeans very underdressed. where is the honor gone in our society?

Okay, so if you are sexually aroused by women, and fantasizing about women with women, but the thought of being in a relationship with a woman revolts you, does that mean you are a lesbian? Even if you are in a relationship with a man and you are aroused by men too? Does it mean you are bi-sexual?

For instance, if you say something about black people eating chicken all the time, people will tell you that it's rascist because they consider it negative. But if you say that mexicans have very good work ethic, rarely will you ever be considered rascist for paying them the compliment of being a good worker. I'm not saying either of these are true, but they are common stereotypes.

Who here thinks that Darwins theory of evolution is wrong? And if you do think it is wrong, what proof do you have? And don't give me an answer based on religion... I want true facts as why you would think it's wrong...

I'm really confused now!! I was just told that the Bible allows for "some" evolution within species...wouldn't that allow for all evolution between species too?

For instance, one person said that it only takes two dogs (male and female) to produce all the dog types we have today...That means two greyhounds could eventually produce a little silly, white, dirty-mouthed, yappy, foofy dog...Is this correct?

It just seems that this reasoning would then allow for more than just intraspecies evolution. How can there be some sort of evolution without allowing for all types of evolution? Seriously, I'm trying to understand, but I don't feel I'm getting it...

She passed away 2 years ago. Last Christmas, it felt sort of fine because it felt like shewas just away on bussiness or one her numerous conferences she goes to. But this year, there is a finality and realiziation that she will not be cooking christmas turkey or giving christmas gift or even putting up a tree. She loved christmas with a passion. She would start decorating in October if we let her! I do not want to spend christmas and its tearing me up inside because this holiday is about family . . .Merry Chrstmas anyway.

I'm a Baptist and I mentioned to a friend this morning in church that I was going to give Bikram Yoga a try to help my bad lower back. He got all defensive and told me Yoga was Satanic and that doing anything with Yoga was being disobedient to God. He said all the poses were tied to Hinduism and other pagan rituals were used during the sessions. I just want to get the benefit of stretching in the heat, I'm not out to become a devil worshiper! I reminded him that nearly every holiday that our church endorses has some pagan elements but that didn't stop anybody from doing them. He also practices Martial Arts, which if I'm correct, is tied to Buddhism. It seems to be that this is another example of people cherry picking what's right or wrong based on what they've been told...not what's really important to God. Am I wrong for getting ticked off at the accusation? Or is this Yoga thing really going to make me a heretic?

tHAT WE WILL FINALLY COME TOGETHER WORLD WIDE and do some thing as a world people ,we realize that apathy and hardening to the situation will leave our future children in quite a mess.Is that what we really want? I think not.Even if utopia is un reachable does not mean it is a goal worth shooting for.Maybe just may be we will get close enought to make life a lot barable
