How about an I love you, book filled with stories of how she has helped you and how much you love her. Special times, lots of sentimental mushy stuff. I get cards from my daughter like that and I save every one. They are more precious to me than any gift she could purchase.

I can see that many have already suggested the coupon book, that's what I used to do when I was a kid and had no money. It was a hit either way and I would do it again if I was broke. Can you make her a gift basket? You can give her a cheap and cute dollar store mug and some tasty teas inside. Add some candy canes if you can and make some ornaments. Do you have a few bucks to go to a craft store to get supplies? If not look around at home and see what you can make. If you live somewhere where there are pine cones, you can look for some nice ones and put some sparkle glue on the tips of them as if it is dusted with snow. Glue strings on them so she can hang them on the tree. There are tons of christmas ornaments that one can make, but you may need a few bucks for craft supplies. A nice one would be a foot massage coupon or back rub coupon. Or you can try to bake something for her, like christmas cookies or whatever she likes to eat. Merry Christmas!

why not give her a coupon for a service you will provide? depending how old you are you could offer to make a complete dinner one night, or clean the house or run the errands for a set amount of time, wash the car or even give her a foot rub. my point is (speaking as a mom) gifts and the thought behind them are lovely, but a service is something every mom or dad can really use and appreciate. hope you find the right gift, whatever it is. merry christmas.

If you have any pics of you as a child until present, take them and make a scrapbook for her. You could also check out different websites for recipes to make different flavored coffee or hot cocoa and make a gift basket out of them with a nice mug. Other gift baskets you could make could be for cookies, muffins, breads, ect. where you mix the dry ingredients together and put them in a jar and have a card with the rest of the instructions on them. Check out the website familyfun.com and there are tons of ideas for homemade things like ornaments and other christmas or different holiday ideas.

Make a homemade coupon book. Make a book with different coupons in it for different chores, one for you to cook one night, one to clean the house, one to was the car, do the laundry, ect. ect. You can color and draw all kinds of nice things on it and if you have glitter and lace you can use it and trim the book with it.
She will love the thought because it will last more than one day

Make a coupon book. Give her free house cleaning for a day, clean her car, make dinner, or anything else that would be helpful for her. Let her use the coupons whenever she needs a break.

Why not offer to give her a day of complete relaxtion to do whatever she wants - you could offer to do the housework, cooking ect for her - would cost nothing but I think your mum would really appreciate it.
