I just bought a very expensive and nice copy of the Qu'ran for a friend. My question is can you wrap it in a box with wrapping paper? Or would it be best just to keep it stored and then give it to them without the wrapping? I don't want to disrespect the book or do anything that would offend someone as this is beyond sacred book!

It seems like the answers based on scripture and sound Christian doctrine get less thumbs up and the pagan ones always have their supporters giving props to their answers. Are the Christians too caught up in their own opinions to support someone else's answer?

Take for example this one.

Rock a my baby on the tree top.
When the wind blows the cradle will rock.
When the bow breaks the cradle will fall.
Down comes baby, cradle and all.

Ok, first, why would a baby on a cradle be on top of a tree. Second, you are telling the child that the bow breaks and baby, cradle and all falls. Third, there is nothing else to suggest that the baby was saved, a cradle falling on an infant would most likely kill him on impact. So what is the moral of the story or the logic. Don't put a baby on a treetop?

I've heard it is genetic and people can't help it because their genes make them more prone to that lifestyle, in essence they are born that way.

So assuming this is the true, isn't the same true about rapists and pedophiles and alcholics? Does that make them ok also if they are born that way?
