Am I don't think paeloentology existed back then buddy. THINK before you TYPE ! ! !
C'mon, for god's sake. Nobody could have known of the existence of dinosaurs back then. THINK ABOUT IT! Man never co-existed with the dinosaurs so how could people two millenia ago have known of their existence. THERE WAS NO ARCHAEOLOGY IN ISRAEL in AD 1. Not for at least another 1800 years after that either! No more thumbs down please. I am the voice of reason here.

Job 3:8, 41:1
Some people feel that the dinosaurs are the leviathans that the Scriptures mention in more than one place. It is obvious that the huge amount of the fossil evidence that the dinosaurs actually existed at some point previous time. I would be more interested though about that where did they come from?
Some of the scholars feel that the dinosaurs are part of the recent creation and did not survive the great flood. I believe that dinosaurs nor any other life form of life did not "evolve" as a result of natural process alone. They were here because God spoke and they came into being.
There are are at least eight species of dinosaur alone that are more than 100 feet long, and many more were upwards of 50 feet long. So I cannot think of them fitting into a Noah's ark. God could have made some kind of miracle to keep them alive. I will ask from Him when I get to heaven. : )

What was previously mentioned is very true. Many dinosaurs are in fact very small creatures. But, it is my belief that the behemoth and leviathan mentioned in scriptures are describing creatures that are much bigger than either the hippo or the crocodile. In Job 40, the Lord describes 'Behemoth' as a very real historical creature. No known living animal, such as the elephant or hippopotamus, fits that passage totally. In fact, if you really look into the details in Job 40, it suggests that the most natural interpretation is that the tail of Behemoth is compared to a cedar for its great size. The tail of a hippo is quite short and thin, hardly comparable to the trunk of a tree. Consequently, the most reasonable interpretation is that Behemoth was a very large animal, which had a large tail. Thus some type of now extinct dinosaur should still be considered a perfectly reasonable possibility according to our present knowledge. Also, the word ‘Behemoth’ is literally a plural form of a common Old Testament word meaning ‘beast’. However, many scholars and translators have agreed that here we have an intensive or majestic plural, so that the meaning is more like ‘colossal beast’. Also, in verse 19, Behemoth was the ‘chief of the ways of God’, which suggests that Behemoth was one of the largest (if not the largest) of God’s creatures. The Leviathan is described in detail, in Job chapter 41, as a creature of immense strength. In the Hebrew text, he has ‘terrifying’ teeth and scales like rows of shields, closely fastened together and hard as stone. He is a resident of the sea, knowing no fear and apparently immune to all man’s weapons. Many have tried to identify this animal as a crocodile, but as other experts have pointed out, there are several problems with this idea. Although some crocodiles do venture into the coastal areas and can swim out to sea, the deep ocean is not their normal habitat. They are found mainly in inland waters, where they live in lakes, rivers, swamps and estuaries, and breed on the shores. Therefore they would not be described as great beasts of the sea. Nor are crocodiles so terrifying that no one dares tackle them—crocodiles are regularly trapped and killed by native tribes with simple technology.

Did Dinosaurs Really Exist?
Dinosaurs certainly did roam the Earth in the ancient past! Fossils of dinosaurs have been found all over the world, and their bones are displayed in museums for all to see. Scientists have been able to reconstruct many of their skeletons, so we know much about how they may have looked.

No. Leviathan in the bible is a whale. Dinosaurs are never mentioned anywhere. Re evolution in general: there was an excellent article by the late Dr. Asimov in which he demonstrated that, IF evolution is not the correct explanation of how there came to be so many species on Earth, THEN light bulbs cannot work. If I can locate that article I will cite it; meanwhile--anybody out here using candles because a preacher told them "light bulbs are against the Bible's teaching"?

There is one verse in Genesis that could be taken to mean dinosaurs, It goes something like in the days of Peleg when the earth was united great creatures roamed the earth. I will look and find it for you though because it is an interesting verse that perfectly explains how all the continents used to once fit together
I was wrong Genesis 10:25 only mentions the continents all being one, sorry for the misinformation.

No! The leviathan mentioned in the bible (Psalm 74:13-14) is not a dinosaur as there were people around. There were no humans or proto- humans when there were dinosaurs on earth. Dinosaurs were destroyed, probably by a meteor impact causing climate change, 65 million years ago. This date is firmly established by the geologic fossil record. Proto-humans (3.5 million years ago) and humans came along much later and this too is pretty firmly dated by the fossil record.

It's all a question of vocabulary and how people defined things. The bible mentions terrible lizards and behemoths. Look in the book of Job chapter 40.

In Genesis where God created all of the creatures on the earth.
The Bible refers to many the common animals we know today. The list includes lions, wolves, bears, sheep, cattle and dogs along with various kinds of birds, rodents, reptiles, and insects. What is interesting is that this extensive list includes three animals that we no longer recognize. These three are (in the original Hebrew language) tanniyn, b@hemowth (yes, it’s spelled correctly—at least as close as we can get in Roman characters), and livyathan.
Although we alter the spelling of behemoth and Leviathan slightly, we still use those same words in bibles today. However, tanniyn is always translated into another word when we write it in English. Tanniyn occurs 28 times in the Bible and is normally translated “dragon.” It is also translated “serpent,” “sea monster,” “dinosaur,” “great creature,” and “reptile.” Behemoth and Leviathan are relatively specific creatures, perhaps each was a single kind of animal. Tanniyn is a more general term, and it can be thought of as the original version of the word “dinosaur.” The word “dinosaur” was originally coined in 1841, more than three thousand years after the Bible first referred to “Tanniyn.”
