I'm looking for a place in Lynnwood WA where I can donate "gently used" toys. I would rather give them to kids who can use them instead of a thrift store where they will just turn around and sell them. Thanx in advance.

Ok here goes... Ever since 2nd grade every 4 years I have a dream that tells me who's going to be the president of the US. I have deja- vu nearly every day at least twice a day. I can see angels, demons, and other spirits. I've been attacked by demons and/or evil spirits about three times. and I've seen a couple of miracles take place. Tell me... am I going crazy?? please help!!!

additional details:
I am 18, and a catholic (which could explain a lot). And some of this is realy starting to frighten me bc I'm not exactly sure what's happening and why it's happening to me.

If some good evidence for life after death were announced, I'd be eager to examine it; but it would have to be real scientific data, not mere anecdote....

When I meet people with accents, I'm always interested in where they're from. It's only because I'm interested in other cultures and meeting new people. I usually say "you have such a pretty accent, where are you from?" But my friends says it's rude to point out peoples accents. Is it rude?

Im a male, hetero, but im epicene, 3rd gender, gender neutral, I like equality, it wouldnt matter to me whether I had a male body or a female body, but a female body attracts me. I would like to find a female partner who feels the same way. Do you think there could be one anywhere in the world?

My friend got caught up in the Wicca thing right after we graduated from high school. That was 8 years ago. He just recently accepted Jesus as his savior, but I have concerns he will still be influenced by his past associations (namely his wife). Is there a good book for a new Christian that will teach him where to start in the Bible and has practical guidance as well?

I don't believe in superstition / bad luck. A broken mirror is simply a piece of glass that has been painted on the back to reflect a persons reflection. It breaks? No different than a broken window or drinking glass. Walk under a ladder? Only pieces of wood framed to support a person climbing. A four leaf clover...simply a leaf of nature that reminds a person to keep their 'hope / dreams' alive. Any thing can remind a person to keep their hope alive...a special pebble, piece of yarn, etc. I don't get the superstition issue of concern. Especially in this year 2006. Want to enlighten me ?

Is it really that hard for ya'll to understand the concept of faith? From some of the things I see ya'll say; it seems like faith is like calculus or triganometry to ya'll.It just goes completely over your heads.

Is it really that hard to grasp the concept of faith?

Hebrews 11:1-Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now the word substance refers to what something is made up of; example:water, water is made up of 2 parts Hydrogen and 1 part Oxygen. In the same way substance of a prayer refers to everything you want, need,or hope to get from God."Evidence of things not yet seen.";although you dont see what you're praying for yet, you must continue to believe that God is going to fullfill your prayer/request.

Hebrews 11:6-But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Again, what's hard to uderstand about faith?

Remember, Islam was created during the 26 battles Muhammad fought in, and ever since those wars that created Islam, Islam has been at war. In fact, today, almost all conflict in the world is Islamic.

If we took a time machine back a into time, you would find people complaining about the Muslims at war everywhere in the world. Depending on the time period, the complaint would be about the Ottomans or the Ummayd or Abasyd, or the invading armies of Muhammad himself

Of course, the Quran is unparralled in savagery. Not only are there countless commands to murder hate and beleaguer unbelievers, the Quran doesnt even want Muslims to love anyone. Never is love, for any but Allah, ever mentioned or inferred.

So help me. Imagine the most savage warlord you can muster in your mind. Now, he makes up a religion. Contrast it, if you can, to Islam.

I've heard Assyrian, which is completly ridiculous because we were the first group of people to Christianity and are the most humble and religious people alive. What do you think?

I really fail to see the connection. I have seen several people on YA who are self-proclaimed pedophiles, and in most cases they are heterosexual males - and for some reason, tend to be Christian Republicans. So why does YA always insist on the Gay section as the first suggestion for questions of this nature?

Perhaps YA needs another sexuality section in Groups and Cultures?
