I like it, but wanted your opinion on the subject?

No. This country was initially founded because of Puritans fleeing the dominance of England. I believe we should be proud we still have those words on our currency.

Well, considering it wasn't put on currency until after 1864, it isn't part of the founding fathers' plan for our country.. btw, the first 6 presidents were Deists and not Christians.. no, they were not here to set up a Christian nation.. and the pilgrims were not Puritans, they were Separatists. So, does it bother me? to a degree, considering that this country is made up of deists, pantheists, polytheists, monotheists and atheists.. and that we are supposed to have a separation of church and state.
Will I stop using money and lose sleep over it? No, I have better things to do.. like wasting time answering questions like this :)

No, it doesn't bother me at all. God is inclusive enough so that all peoples of various faiths can claim that proclamation. I suppose that it might offend only the Atheists. But remembering the historical context of its inclusion on American currency, it just reminds me of our heritage.

It is still our national motto.
Who says our country is not based on Christian values??

I think it should be taken down , but I dont really find it to be that big of a deal.
