I really fail to see the connection. I have seen several people on YA who are self-proclaimed pedophiles, and in most cases they are heterosexual males - and for some reason, tend to be Christian Republicans. So why does YA always insist on the Gay section as the first suggestion for questions of this nature?
Perhaps YA needs another sexuality section in Groups and Cultures?

I thought you were kidding, until I did an experiment, I asked "what is a pedophile?" Want to guess what category it gave as a first choice? Yep, LGBT. (no I did not submit the question).
YahooAnswers has a lot to answer for it self, this is yet another example.
That question should logically go to psychology, or law first. Most people who might be just curious don't notice the category or accept the lgbt without asking why.

I don't believe Yahoo has anything to do with it. Categorical placement is up to the asker, not Yahoo. It seems that there are many people who believe (or pretend to believe) that gays & pedophiles are the same thing. Just part of their "hate for hate's sake" persona, I'd imagine. It certainly goes a long way to prove their ignorance, willful or otherwise.

Hahahaha they used to do an analogous element to me!! and the sometime i replaced into asking a question approximately my puppy... and yahoo positioned it contained in the gay/Lesbian/Transgendered section... so all and sundry thoroughly handed over my question and proceeded to ask "WHY is that this in this section.. DO you have intercourse with your puppy OR something." i think of its too complicated for individuals to comprehend that we are all human and make blunders.. i advise this time it replaced into for sure Yahoo's fault.. yet nevertheless.. human beings will in simple terms discover any reason to ***** anymore. :D

What are you talking about? It's the people who pick the catagories. It goes to that section automatically because people most use that section to express sex. Christian republic pedophiles.... please. That is an oxymoron. Nice try.
