Spencer, relax. I too experienced this fear and know that it is the worst feeling possible of all human experiences to think one is doomed for hell with no possible way out. I think this is a common tool of the devil to keep Christians in fear and introspecting themselves because as long as you do this, you are powerless and reaching someone else for Christ is out of the question. For one thing, blaspheming is attributing something of God to Satan. Also, the Bible says if someone SPEAKS a word against the Holy Spirit not just thinks. We can't control some wild thoughts that flit through our head; indeed this could be merely whisperings from a demon making you think its your own thought. But to SPEAK it, this is something you have to will to do own your own. Also, remember God knows your heart. He knows if it was some random thought or if in your heart you actually willingly thought to bring disrepute to the Holy Spirit. I once had this profanity aimed toward the Holy Spirit repeating, shouting in my brain over and over and over and I don't know if it was a trick in my brain because I was trying so hard not to have it, or if it was a demon, but I do know it wasn't coming from my heart. Also, remember that Peter (or was it Paul) said to test the spirits to see if they are of God. This means that wondering if something is of God or really from the devil (i.e. tongues, slaying in the Spirit, writhing, animal noises, etc. )is not nearly the same thing as declaring them absolutely to be of the devil, which IS something I would be very careful about. Yes, we are even commanded to be discerning and to be aware that not all spiritual manifestations are from God. Just trust God and do not be alarmed at the storms of the mind that happen from time to time. If you dn't feed them, they will subside.
P.S. Be sure you read the link Lorene put up. Its a good one.

Sinning is subjective and only you can say if you've sinned. If it causes you grief then it is a sin as it interferes with you life. While another would see it as silly and dismiss it at once you cannot. Therefore look into yourself and ask yourself how serious is this forbidden thought and if it really bothers you, you should go atone in your local house of worship.

Once you have really committed "the unforgiveable sin", you won't be worried about it any more.
God will be all through trying to warn you.

probably not. Most people think it is suicide because you cannot repent, I doubt that one. I think knowing Christ is your Savior and choosing to reject him is the unforgivable sin.
