Someone is trying to fool you by saying that Santa is your mom and dad. I know for sure that Santa exists, because my parents will never get me the things I want, they always give me socks and clothes!!! Santa comes to my house every Christmas! So I thank him putting milk, cookies AND water in a bucket for the reindeers.

It depends if you figure it out yourself, have a parent tell you, or have a friend tell you. I have known thi since I was in 2nd grade, 6 years ago. My friend told me his dad was putting gifts under the tree that said from 'Santa'. I told everybody and was glad I got 'Santa' past me. I don't have to worry about 'Being watched 24/7 by a fat guy'.

I had been thinking for years now that my mother's writing looked a lot like "santa's". Then she started saying, I thought u would like this, so I got it for you. She never actually told me he wasn't real, just hinted at it gently.

there are stories that a man similar to him existed a long time ago, but he was mortal and died. i personally think that santa is a ploy used by parents to try to keep their children in check. "if you don't behave, santa won't get you anything"...blah blah blah.
