Pagans are a very diverse group. Some Pagans don't believe in any gods, some are monotheistic, some believe in a mother goddess and a father god, and others are either "hard" or "soft" polytheists. Some simply aren't sure, and they're okay with that.

Generally, Pagans believe in creating balance and doing good in the world. Some Pagans believe in or do magick; others do not. Most Pagans feel a responsibility to help protect the environment.

That's about all I can say without picking a specific branch of Paganism. Like "Christianity," Paganism has a lot of "denominations" with differing world views and ideas in each one.

Paganism has many beliefs that are really to deep to explain. I would go google or yahoo and do a search on pagan beliefs, and remember keep an open mind.

There are many Pagan faiths and each has its own beliefs. There are some general beliefs that are common to many of the faiths. Some of them are:

Multiple Deities.
Reincarnation.
Sacredness of the Earth and Nature.
Sacredness of all life.
Some form of Karma.
Many follow a "Harm none" philosophy.
The belief that everyone is capable of experiencing Divinity directly, no intercessor is needed.
Responsibility for ones own actions.
Some believe in the use of magick.

These are just a few off the top of my head and are not necessarily shared by all faiths, but they give a good general idea of what Paganism is about. Or at least, I hope they do.
