Got a price limit? Bath & Body Works has nice-smelling stuff, lotion, bath stuff, body spray, some for not much more than $10. They have gift packs too; or you could get her a gift card to her favorite store, in whatever the reasonable amount would be for the family budget.

i would get her something nice just something you obviously didn't put any thought into....
a gift card is pretty thoughtless. one that you can buy in the grocery store. maybe a gift card to Lowes or a home improvement store.....
a candle.
a premaid lotion gift basket from Wal Mart or K Mart
slippers
winter hat and gloves
socks and christmas ornament
christmas themed tea towels
christmas tree ornaments
rubbermaid wrapping paper container filled with variety of wrapping paper and bows
a nice framed picture of your family :)
you can get a stocking and fill it with a new toothbrush, mouthwash, floss, candy, nail polish, polish remover, band aids, magic erasers, batteries, etc...

You could go for some not so subtlety with a gift of banana bread, fruitcake, or mixed nuts. I've done that with my kids' teachers that I don't like.
Or how about a sweater? Nothing fancy. Maybe one of the Christmasy patterns.

Give her a gift card for someplace like bath and body works, or a department store she likes, or a gift card for a massage, facial or manicure.
doesnt matter what you get her... there will be whispers and questions and false smiles.

Even if you do not like her be the bigger person. No reason to cause a family feud. Does she collect anything? Does she do scrapbooking? If so go to a craft store and get something there.

I agree with the person that said to get something her hubby would like. Make sure that it is something that you are pretty sure that he will, but she won't.
There are several ways to get your point across with out vocalizing it! Good luck
