Impossible question. Defend them from what?

Philosopher: Atheists do not have the same view as Satanists. Atheists don't believe in ANY higher forces, including Satan.

Satanist, if you read the bible, Lucifer never killed anyone. In fact, he is a teacher of good and evil. God on the other hand killed innocent babies in Egypt. Who is better? A teacher or a murderer?*

Now to diffuse your loaded question, it would totally depend on the situation and what I felt was the most appropriate response as there is no such thing as God or Lucifer.

Talk about your vague questions.
Defend for what?
Against what?

Wouldn't it depend on what they did?
