I think the teachers aide needs investigating, how could she interpret a hug from a 4 year old as a sexual assault.
There is definatly more here, a dare from anther child, something sinister at home?
Or did she feel sexually aroused at the contact and is transferring blame to the child?
If were Principal i would have some serious misgivings.

There doesn't seem to be any evidence in the article about the TX child's use of "sexual" contact or harassment.
On the other hand I do believe that some children whom have been previously molested will at times act out the things that have been done to them. I don't believe these children even fully understand what they are doing to others or what has been done to them. I also DON'T believe these children act out for the same reason their molesters did. It's doesn't seem like they even grasp the true scale of this situation until they are older.
So, yes...some children are capable of inappropriate sexual contact and maybe even the harassment of an adult, but I don't believe they even understand what they are doing at the age of 4. It seems to be more of a forbidden role play or acting out in the anger from there own situation.
There is was no supporting evidence of the child in TX to have had an abusive past that would have thrusted him into this witch hunt. This finger pointing will lead to questions that this small child doesn't need to know the answers to. Let the child be a child and don't take away his innocents with these adult conversations and situations.

Sadly, it is possible that a 4 y/o might have a habit of acting out sexually or aggressively if he or she has been exposed to that sort of behavior at such a young age. If this is the case, that child needs counseling and the family needs investigation. In such a case, the school system would be in a tough position of defending it's actions without making public the sad details of the child's life.

It is also possible that someone in the Texas school system simply has a major bug up their a**. It's a terrible situation for this 4 y/o boy either way.

That's so rediculous and I am writing to the school district. Someone will throw my letter out but I have to put my 2 cents in.
La Vega Pirmary Center is the school accusing the 4 year old of sexual misconduct. Write them a letter ! :)

that's crazy. utterly ridiculous. there has got to be something wrong with that woman if she thinks a four year old is making passes at her. a little over confident perhaps. it's highly unlikey that a four year old can sexually harrass an adult. does a four year old even know what sex is. Most kids have probably done something along those lines. I used to lie on my mother's breast when i was little. my mum never took that as sexual harrassment.

If I remember correctly, a psychology text book in my high school had a case study about a 3-year old molester. Then there was a case in Bangladesh where a 3 year old kid was charged with the murder of someone. Yup, they may look all small cute and weak, but give them the chance, and they'll smash us.

the rustic is finished of wussies that cant take care of circumstances themselves, or have too skinny a epidermis, and so could desire to motel to little wussy regulations and regulations to 'govern' habit; so we droop 4 twelve months olds for hugging, yet throw condoms to youth hoping they wont get pregnant
