Is it dangerous to give to my son if he isnt vomiting? Like with the hot weather, that is pretty much all he will drink. He wont drink milk, water, or juice. Could it harm him? THanks!

When children leave their toys on the floor they get thrown away?
Lets say the kids destroy their playroom, not by playing but by being destructive, strewing about board games, puzzles, legos etcetera.... so you dump everything haphazardly in bins and put it away telling the kids that you "threw it all away" Right or wrong was to go about it? Lets also say that you gave them ample warning to clean up as they went, and to clean up the huge whole mess or else.

He has no accidents during the day, and sometimes he can go the whole night without an accident, but sometimes he can't. I cut out any drinks/food after 7, I've given him showers in the morning when he does pee (war, showers just to wash the smell off of him, he hates showers and will usually do better for the next few days). I don't know what else to do, the dr said that most kids are potty trained by 5 yrs, and that's coming up in December.

Hello! My 18 month old daughter cries rivers when I hold another baby.

(1) what do I do to get her to let me...do I dicipline her for the outburst or do I cuddle her? I have tried to let her sit on my lap at the same time and she still wales. I dont want a spoiled child...and I dont want her to think I am going to replace her with the baby I am holding...what do I do?

(2) what happens when I have another baby? Is there a way to prepare her for this? I dont want her crying while I am already exhausted with a newborn. I also dont want her to feel left out.

My 13 month old son used to love his baths. Now he stands near the edge of the tub and screams his lungs out until my husband or I are done cleaning him off from his days antics and take him out of the tub. He has bath toys but he ignores them. What are some things my husband and I can try to do to get our son to like his baths again?

I don't get it. She's not overweight and enjoys the same stuff as other kids her age -- Bratz dolls, Spongebob, playing with her friends, soccer, splashing at the water park and yet she loves and I mean LOVES Richard Simmons.

She made me TIVO a couple of his infomercials which she likes to watch as we get her dressed and I comb her hair in the morning.

She drew a picture of Richard and asked me if I could mail it to him a couple weeks ago. I pretended to, so now she watches the mail everyday looking to see if she got a letter back from him.

Her Dad suggested we write her a pretend letter so she'll stop looking.

When I ask her why she likes Richard so much she gives a vague answer like, "he's happy" or "he's funny"

But a lot of people that come on TV are "happy" and even funnier than him. So I can't figure out why is she fixating on the guy that does Sweating to the Oldies! It's so weird!

to understand how to just lay down in our bed in rest. He's sick and I wouldn't mind him just resting beside us so we can keep an eye on him but he's always so restless....I'm sure its because he thinks he can only sleep in a crib.

Anyone else have a little one like this?

My 4 year old daughter constantly screams at the top of her lungs. It's not because she's throwing a temper tantrum and I don't honestly think she does it to get attention. It's one of those shrill high pitched screams. I've tried about everything except putting soap in her mouth to get her to stop. I don't want to resort to putting soap in her mouth. She's only 4. I've given her time outs, I've taken things from her that are very dear to her heart. I've put her in the corner. I've even swatted her bottom (which I try to use as a last resort.) She doesn't scream outside. Its only INSIDE, in the house! I've tried about a million different ways of explaining the difference between indoor voices and outdoor voices and I KNOW she understands. I think she does this just because she likes the sound of her own scream, however, MY EARS CAN'T TAKE ANYMORE! PLEASE HELP ME!! if you have any other methods, PLEASE. PLEASE let me know! Thank you!

I have twin three year old boys that have figured out every kind of baby gate I have. (top of stairs mounting, pressure gate) If they havent figured it out they have climbed it. What else can I do. If you are not familiar with twins, they do not talk well, therefore, telling them something is close to impossible.

My 13 month old has had a fever for 2 days now. It has been 103.0 and up. I took her to the ER and they said it was ok to have fevers that it was nothing serious. Even that high. They told me to give her motrin.Last I knew a fever wasn't that good. She has been on that for 2 days and it still isn't breaking. She is also on atibiotics cause they thought she might have a sinus infection. Is it good to have a temp that high this long? What can it cause. What else can I do? I have tried sponge baths, and everything else. I need help. I need advice. Thanks.

She fights, bites, screams, throws herself on the floor, and hits. What could be causing her to act this way? I thought it was just at home but her teacher at daycare told me that it was at school too. She is mean to the other kids. I feel like I can't control her what can I do?

I currently have a 14 month old daughter. She will be about 18 months old when my little boy comes. I'm concerned about how she will react and how much my household/daily routine will change.

Anyone with experience in having children this close in age? How was/is it for you?

My son is driving me nuts today!!!! He's 2 1/2 yrs old, and has decided that today is a good day to whine and cry and scream and throw toys. He has about one day like this a week, and I attribute it to a bad night's sleep. How do YOU de-stress from a morning of temper tantrums and whining?

I read somewhere not to push him until he feels hes ready because the earlier you potty train the more difficult it would be for us because hes not ready how can I tell when hes ready?
