My 10 month old baby girl started coughing every 10 minutes and also started lil bit of runny nose.
Doc prescribed her Tannate 12D suspension 1/4 spoon every 12 hrs till cough disappears.

Wont just Robitussin work? do i need to start on this,i laready purchase it but it says dizziness,etc..."

She often falls sick [ fever,cold,...] is it becos she goes to daycare?

I would just give her the medicine. The dose perscribed is factored by age, height, weight, ect, so it is a safe amount for her to take. Plus every 12 hours is a lot of time in between doses, so i think she will be okay. Whenever i would get a perscription for my son, i would be worried about the side effects too. But nothing ever went wrong. That is mostly letting you know what could happen and what happened in the testing. I am sure it will help her get over her cough sooner for her sake and yours. Daycare could be a reason why she is getting sick a lot because she is around a lot of kids. Younger babies tend to catch a lot of things from toddlers and older kids.

I agree....give the medicine prescribed as your doctor knows best! And yes, day care exposes children to lots more germs but the payoff is that their immune systems get strong quickly so they will get sick less often later in life.

give her the prescribed medicine. ts stronger and will work better , also call the doctor and ask him
