my daughter loves to play guns and cars though i never bought one before. eventhough she's only 2 years old, but she likes the company of boys older that her... i bought dolls and playhouses for her but she only plays with them for a short time. is it normal for kids her age to have that behavior? is she starting to show signs of being a lesbian?

Why are dummys (pacifiers) such an emmotive topic for some people. I read one question where a mother was asking how to wean her 3 year old off a dummy and some of the answers were awful, stating she was a bad mother etc, the poor women was just asking for advice.

I've heard plenty of problems with toddlerhood and sometimes they reject everything. With most things I can live with. Our child is doing everything and anything to avoid a bath to the point that its dangerous. Any tips on how to get him to want to take a bath or other ways to clean him aside from dousing him with the hose?

We're starting to shop for a used car, and having a hard time finding recommendations and ratings from parents, like safety features, and if can kids have side air bags? And also on space for car seats - currently am getting kicked! Any answers on what you drive, and whether you like it would be great! We'll have 2 convertible car seats in there, and only care if they fit - not if someone can fit between them.

Our five year old daughter is obsessed with hand washing and being clean, has a melt down if a toy touches something that has been outside. Will freak out if a blade of grass brushes her leg if she is outside. - Has anyone else had this problem? If so what did you do?

I have a 5 year old niece & a 3 year old nephew and I have no idea what to get them for Easter.

I'm thinking something smaller, like $10-20 each. They have MORE than enough toys and dolls, and they don't watch a lot of TV. They like to do crafts with their mom, so if you can recommend some kind of craft kit that would work for those ages, that might work.

but these are the symptoms my 20 month old has (except he doesnt have the diarreha) he does do the grabbing his ears and throwing horrible screaming fits that sound like hes in alot of pain AND then hes fine. i mean hes not perfect but he just suddenly stops and is gabbing and eating. he has molars coming in and his gums are red.. so is this teething or a combination of things? has anyone else had a toddler that had similat symptoms of teething?

My MIL is having an Easter Egg hunt for my kids at her house in her yard. My son is 2 yrs and developmentally delayed and so I don't want to put the traditional pocket change in the eggs! Alot of the candies out there are choking hazards. Now I'm trying to figure out what would be appropriate to stuff the eggs with. Any ideas?

It's becoming rediculous. It started off with only Stefani taking everything off but her undershirt, which is buttoned and then Sofia slowly started doing the same. Now, if I leave the room for more than 10 seconds, I walk in to find them wearing nothing but their undershirts. They know they aren't allowed, and run away when you come at them with the clothes. Anyway, so Sofia threw a tantrum for about 10 minutes and won't let me go near her now, just because I forced her to put her pants back on.

My daughter turned 3 years old in January.
She has been going to full time nursery for around 3 months.
My question is, how much should she know at this age?
In particular, Numbers, Alphabet, Colours and Shapes?
I am told she is making very good progress but that is by the "Teachers" themselves so they may be biased!!
How much did/do your children know at that age?
Also she was 6 weeks prem so would that have a bearing on it?

PLease answer ONLY IF YOU HAVE DONE RESEARCH ON IT OR ARE A PROFESSIONAL OR HAVE USED IT FOR TWO YEARS WITH A CHILD. New moms, I have researched answers from your area. Please don't be offended. I heard some not so good things about it and I see them in my 9 mo. old grand daughter, but want to do some serious research before I talk to my daughter, we struggle in our relationship a bit, so don't want to "scare her." But I think it might be serious.
