my little boy is called Samuel - but he gets called Sam
my sister's 3 kids are called, Harry, Eve and Hazel.

no children, but worked with them for over 30 years
There are several points to consider when naming children
1 What will the name be shortened to? (because it WILL be shortened by other children) eg the name Patrick to Pat or Paddy
2 Does it sound ok with your surname eg Teresa Green (Trees are green)
3 Do you want them to struggle to write their name as a 4/5 year old? eg Elliot is easier to write than Jeremy
4 Will they be embarrased by it when they are grown up and it is called out in a doctor's surgery etc? (because they ALWAYS call the FULL name out)
5 What do the initials spell? eg Terence Ian Thomas - not good!
6 If you use the same Initial letter for both children, there WILL be arguements over mail when they grow up

My daughter is Kayleigh Marie
Her half-sisters on her dad's side are Madelyn Ashley and Melani Grace
My cousins are MaryClare Hyacinth and Madilyn Margaret
Not a lot of boys in the family, there are Greg, Kyle, Bradley
Other girls - Geri, Lynnette, Charlene

just an idea but for the twins a like the names Danny and Danielle and i also like tony for a boy and Tonianne for a girl.
i have 3 kids 2 boys and a girl my twin boys are called Khalid and Khalil and my daughter is called Amani (they are all Muslim names).

my 6 year old son is called morgan and my little girl nearly 2 is mackenzie and we're expecting another baby in september might call the baby if a girl isla and if a boy sonny but me and my husband cant make are minds up this time. It's so hard picking your kids names.....
