My son is 16 months old, and is getting his incisors. He has had a runny nose /drooling for a few weeks now, but does not seem to have a cold.

Treat the teething. Seriously give him iced cold hard things to chew on that will break through the gum and release the teeth. The fastest way to stop the runny nose is to speed along the teeth. In the mean time all you really can do about the nose, is wipe it.

Didn't you read about spamming? This question ONCE was enough.

It is quite normal for a teething child to have a runny nose and drool while teething. If you want you can use a clothes pin on the nose to stop it. (for everyone YES I am being sarcastic!)

A runny nose teethes??!?!?! LOL!

Sorry, that just struck my funny bone. I apologize. I know you're concerned about your little boy. Drooling and sniffles accompany the cutting of teeth. Some toddlers have a worse time with it than others. If you see the teeth have erupted through the gums and he's still doing it, check with your pediatrician.

hmmm, I don't really think you can. Could maybe try allergy medicine to see if that dries it up any?

Good luck!

You can check with your pediatrician, but I think that this is normal, and you just have to put up with it.
