Just wondering whether my 6 year old daughter is the only one who still wears larger size (30'' x 30'') terry nappies for bedtime, she is allergic to Pampers ? The doctors says there's nothing wrong with her.

My daughter is two and is getting better and better with her potty training. She asks to go quite often on the big potty, and diapers are getting way too hard to put on afterward, especially trying to do standing up. Never used Pull ups, wanting to know from other parents if they are easier than diapers at this stage, and with her wanting to actually use the potty, does it sound like she is ready to move up to those?
My only draw back is- Dr. said she is against them because they are still "too much" like a diaper. Not sure if she is ready for full on panties yet though.

Does anyone have a convertible car seat that has the bar that goes down in front of him or her? Does the padding on that part comes off to be washed. If so what seat was is. And what is your recommendation on car seat for a one-year-old, 22 pounds. Not expensive.

He's 13 months old, very hands-on and clingy. Any tips for how to get through the flight, or what kind of light toys I can carry or games we could play?

We've already had one disastrous flight and that was only 2.5 hours!

I adore my 3-yr-old and would never purposely do anything that would make fun of him or anything like that. That's not what this is about.

For months, my 3-year-old has called me "Daddy-ah-Momma" and my husband "Momma-ah-Daddy" (meaning he would start talking before thinking about who he's talking to). It was a correction.

All of a sudden, he stopped doing it. He no longer messes up and starts to call me "Daddy" and my husband "Momma". Instead, the very day he stopped doing that, he started stuttering. And I'm not talking about even your moderate case of stuttering. After trying to get one word out for several seconds, I started counting. I counted seventeen "Ca"'s to say "Can I have a drink?" (after I started counting, at least ten before that). He even stops to take in a long breath and keep going.

I think he's just doing it to be funny. Should we just ignore it, or should we try to get him to stop, based on our belief that it's not a true stuttering problem?

My 2yr. old has his days and night mixed up. I can rarely get him to go to bed before 2:30 or 3:00 a.m. I've tried everything and nothing works. I've tried no caffine, chocolate, or sugar. I've tried winding him down by reading to him. I've tried getting him to lay down at the same time every night. I've tried repeatedly putting him down as soon as he gets back up. He goes for 12 and 13 hours full force without a nap. And if he does want to take a nap it's not until he's been up for 8 hrs., then it's usually 8 or 9 pm. and I just have to keep him awake. If he does take an earlier nap it's cause he's riding in the car. And if he goes to sleep before he's been up for 10 or 11 hrs. it's just like a nap for him(sleeping 2 or 3 hrs.). If he does take a nap I don't let him sleep for more than 30 min. or 1 hr. cause he'll be ready to go for another 8 hrs. I'm at my wits end. Can someone help? Should I take him to the doctor or what?

Ok... I nursed him until he was 16 months old... then only stopped because I was 8 months pregnant and could not fit him on me because my stomach was too big with the baby (seriously..LOL It was kinda funny) Now, that was in Jaunuary, baby was born in February, and all the sudden (the last 2 weeks) my two year old has been wanting to nurse. He puts his hand down my shirt saying "I eat" Now, obviously I stop him, tell him no no and don't nurse him, but does anyone know why after 10 months of him not nursing, AND him watching his brother nurse for nearly 8 months with no problems he would all the sudden want to nurse again? I thought we were going to have this problem when the baby was born, not almost 8 months later... Thanks!
