CALL THEM EVERY DAY!!! Sorry for the caps but I'm refiling AGAIN because they have lost my paperwork, ignored my calls, randomly closed my case even though I was talking on the phone daily with my case worker and had faxed/walked in/ and everything else you can do my needed papers. You need to keep on their butts . Starting immediately. I have no clue how long it should take to hear back from them...because I've never heard back from them without having to stalk them. I hope your case goes better and your little one doesn't get sick in the mean time.
(BTW we're in North Carolina)

Depends on what county you are in. Some counties take quite a while and other counties are quick. If you have a caseworker call them and see how it is going...or call the medicaid number and see what is going on with your application.

well if its just a renewal....then its about a few weeks, you should get the new one in the mail soon....if not call and ask just to make sure they got it...now if this is the first time your applying it takes up to 3 months.

Good luck !..In Pa the System was great but before I was eligible at my work in Texas they said it was going to be 3 mons minimum
