My two little boys recently had chicken pox. When the 4 year old got them I explained the symptoms to the chemist and he said that they always start on the hotter parts of the body eg: Tummy, back and behind the ears. The blisters are watery and quite small, after a few days they began to scab. I hope that this is some help to you. If he complains that he is itchy or you see him scrathing Pinetarsal wash put in the bath works real wonders and relieved my boys alot. Good luck and I hope all is well.

You need to take him to your GP to get him checked out. The distribution is a bit unusual for chicken pox, which usually favours the chest, back and face over the limbs, although it could still be possible. The nappy area distribution may suggest a fungal infection with blistering, which would require a different treatment. Until you get him seen by a doctor, I would assume chicken pox and that it is infectious.

some children only get a few chicken pox, some are covered this is normal.
It sounds like the pox, but don't worry!
There are a few things which really help, like an antihistamine to help with itchiness, you can also put some oats in a muslin cloth and run them under the tap for a creamy bath- this really helps!
Also get a combination of witchhazel&calamine lotion as the witchazel really cools and the calamine soothes alot!
The spots tend to come in crops for about three days, so by tomorrow the child could be covered more extensively!
All the best!

it sounds like hand foot and mouth disease. Nothing like the sort that cattle get though. It is contageous and can be a little painful for him, so give him some calpol if he complains. It will last about 3-4 days and then clear up. My 3 have all had it ! Its nothing to worry about.
Check in his mouth - are there any in there, these will be the ones that will hurt the most.

My nephew had fowl pox whilst he become approximately 10 months previous and have been given them lower back whilst he become in uncomplicated college. The Dr. defined that his immune device in simple terms wasn't mature sufficient whilst he had the the 1st time so it did no longer make/save? the antibody against it. basically a splash greater information. on the challenge for you. I genuinely have heard however which you would be able to get them greater then as quickly as however yet i do no longer understand different then my very own kin journey.

Well, I'm no doctor and I"m guessing you are not either. So don't play the guessing game with your child.Take your baby to a DOCTOR OFFICE. Those blisters could be a number of different things So don't waste time guessing it could be something serious.
