I'd say she needs a coat. A nice, thick quilted jacket. One that will keep her warm and has multiple layers. Also if she was to play outside she may need snow bibs or a snowsuit. She will also need a hat (like a knitted cap), mittens, and maybe even a scarf. Finally she will need warm boots.

As for donating that stuff, you're not going to find a place until you are in Maryland. Are you visiting somebody there? If so that person may be able to help in finding a Salvation Army or Church Mission to help.

even though you live in a warm weather territory, you can still buy the things you need for a cold weather state from walmart or target by getting them ONLINE!!! and since we here in the north are getting winter a lil bit early this year, ( i have my kids in their winter weather clothes already YIKES!! it's not even Halloween yet!! but i digress) You need your kids in snowsuits, hats and gloves, that way you don't have to mess with layering. BTW, you can always pick up the hats and such at dollar store once you get to Maryland. and since Guam is more tropical you can also get jeans and sweaters/sweatshirts etc from an online retailer as well. Oh and don't forget Boots!! hope this helps!!

A warm coat without a hood (because hoods get caught in things and it's hard for the child to see around them) Don't bother with a scarf because it just gets tangled or lost and sometimes makes for a choking hazard.
A knitted hat and knitted mittens ( have a couple of pairs of mittens because they get wet quickly) Knitted keeps the hands warmest when playing in the snow and lets the skin breath.
Bib overalls for snow pants, they are easier to get in and out of than a snow suit and as the child grows the straps adjust.
Pull on boots are best, easy on and off. get a size bigger so that you can put extra sox on the child and tuck the pants in the boots to keep the snow out.
Sweat suits are best underneath winter clothing, and then t-shirts and underclothes.
Layers are best when going out in cold weather and coming inside.

All she really needs is a few t-shirts, boots and a warm jacket. Mittens and a hat. Long pants and long sleeved shirts, socks. There are second hand stores here in the states that you could go to as soon as you get here. What size is she? I have tons of little girl clothes I could send to the Maryland address if you want.

Well of course she need panties and an undershirt, long johns or leggings, a long sleeve shirt, warm socks, sweats and a sweat shirt, a snow suit if she is going to be playing in the snow, a hat or earmuffs gloves and snow boots. I don't know of anywhere that donates them but here in America they are sold in almost every store. Enjoy your first snow!!!

Apart from warm clothes, a lot of heat is lost through the head!!! This is the reason the Russians wear woolen headgear and cover the ears as well. Try getting a beannie with ear muffs. Warm Regards

I don't know where you can get them in Guam. But you will need onsies (there are under shirts). long sleeve shirts, pants, socks, a snow suit or heavy coat, a hat and gloves. For bed sleepers are great they are one piece pajamas with feet. That is the basics that I can think of right now. Good Luck!

If your little one is anything like mine, good luck getting her to wear anything! When it snows here where I'm from I bundle up my little one from head to toe. Hat for the head, scarve for the neck, snow suits( thick warm zip up suits, might have to pick that up at the local walmart in Maryland when you get here, or you could order from online stores.) gloves, thick warm socks and snow boots. Maryland is beautiful in December. Hope you enjoy the snow!!!

Dress for cold....
Long shirt, sweater, pants, socks, boots or thick shoes, and winter jacket/hat/mittens.
If she will be walking make sure you have a second pair of gloves incase one gets wet, extra socks, water proof boots, and snow pants available.
If will be walking and don't have snow pants a couple pairs of lined pants will be good.

Look on EBAY you can find some stuff cheap there.
