February is an awfully long time to wait. I'd go back and talk to the doctor about options for your daughter's pain and getting the appointment moved up. If your doctor isn't helpful, then get a second opinion!
In the mean time, gentle warmth will help along with sparing pain relievers like children's Motrin. FYI- Tylenol is a fever reducer, but ibuprofin (like in Motrin) is an anti-inflammatory and is more likely to help with joint pain.
A rice bag would be an easy thing to make for warmth. You make a small rectangular pocket out of some cotton cloth and fill 2/3 full of rice, then sew the end shut. You microwave it for 1-2 mins, wrap in a towel and then place on her knees. We use that a lot for joint pain in the elderly.

Request that she be evaluated by a orthopedic doctor for pediatric patients. They will set her up the best care for her conditions. They can give you the appropriate exercises to do with your daughter along with medications for relief if she needs them.
There is also certain programs (here where I live its Community Bridges) that offer physical therapy at your home. I would find out about this also.

Keep the knee warm and get some lotion from a doctor or pharmacist to ease the pain.

Try giving her jello, and increase calcium sources to see if you can get her knee joints to build up also try a Flintstone vitamin or some other kid's vitamin
