I live in a second floor flat. My husband is out most of the time working.I have an 18 month old daughter who is a very active and happy baby. She is very friendly with all our neighbours and friends and is loved by all in the building.Recently my maid told me about our first floor neighbour who lives just below our flat telling others that she is having problem with the screaming and squealing of my baby as it disturbs her peace at home.My baby is in this habit of moving and dragging things around the house and she had been very cranky till last week maybe because of her teething. All this sound and noise is disturbing her downstairs.
Now I really don't know how to handle this because she is planning to come and complain to me about all this one of these days. And I have been feeling very bad after hearing this because I really do not know what to do? I have no idea what that lady wants me to do. Does she expect me to tie up my poor baby and tape her mouth or something? Please help.

He has never pooped on the toilet but will pee in there with no problems. He always poops in his underwear and it's been frustrating for a while now. I try to ask him why he won't poop on the toilet but he won't tell me. He won't even cooperate with his dad on this issue. Is there a trick to this with boys? What are we doing wrong?

Some of my son's tubs of playdoh are really soft and sticky, ( they are less than a year since they were given to him) they don't smell bad, but they are so hard to play with because it sticks like mud to all the tools and moulds. The others are ok, they are still easy to play with and can still make shapes and balls with them. I don't see an expiry, should I just chuck the lousy tubs away in case its dangerous to use? Or can I just mix them together with the others to make it less sticky? Will that help? thanks for any advise!

Hey...a friend is babysitting a 2 yr-old (girl) tomorrow all day. She needs some recommendations on indoor activities (snow/cold outside). a child can only be entertained for so long by bouncing a balloon in the air, and coloring.

Only wholesome activities please. and nothing Halloween related either (I don't think the parents are into the holiday...) Thanks.

the more the better.

My child loves his father, but it is not safe for him to be at his dad's without supervision. My ex is doing things out of spite to hold him against me, and he is munipulating everyone to make me out as the bad person. I have witnesses to drug use, alcohol abuse, and i have suspicion have neglect, but i don't have hard evidence, it's my word against his. This does not work for judge. I can't seem to find answers anywhere else. Maybe someone else in the same situation can give me pointers. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I have a 2 yr old daughter who has gone from picky to totally unreasonable. She eats lunchmeat and crackers every meal. I try to give her different things and she won't even try it. I'm going out of my mind. Please help. P.S. Don't suggest I make her eat something or she goes hungry because it doesn't work

My little boy (Jack) is aged 2 years 2 months, and my childminder, who is great, has suggested that he has a speech problem, as since he has been with her (5 months) his vocabulary hasn't progressed as much as other children she has looked after,

His 'red book' says he should say 30-50 words and string two words together. I have made an appointment with the health visitor in November, and will keep a 'word diary' until then.... but can't help worrying.

One of my two year old twins gets a raised red ring around his mouth after eating, so far, strawberry jam, "maple" syrup and, now tonight, ranch dressing. These foods do not seem to share a common ingredient.

My daughter is 2 and it seems she doesn't want to eat anything. She wouldn't even try, just look and turn her head away. I talked to he doctor and they all say for me not to worry, that she's perfectly ok & it's a normal stage but I still need to offer her healthy foods hoping that she'll change her mind. So I need some simple meals that are easy to fix and could be apealling to a toddler?
