OK... So I wanted to be the "joiner" mom at my daughters new school. I volunteered to manage the class project that is to be actioned off at the schools major fund raiser Gala. I need ideas for a really nice (think will make lots of money at auction) class project that would not be too difficut for a 4 year old class to complete by Sept. 22. HELP! I have no flipping idea what to do.

both her parents are doctors and she has everthing in the world. I am low income single parent of three, what kind of a gift do you bring that dosen't cost alot, but has great meaning? Although her parents have money, she is a very humble child. Last year I bought her brother a telescope for his b-day and he is still enjoying it.

has been waking up 4 out of 7 nights around 3am and playing and laughing in her crib having a grand old time.... She dosent yell for me or cry but she will play and babble and laugh for awhile and then just go back to sleep.. Sometimes I go in a see if she has a wet diaper and she usually does so I change it and then she will snuggle with me and then go back into her crib and play awhile, then go to sleep... She takes one nap a day from about 2pm to 4 or 5pm and I have started putting her to bed at 9 pm or so instead of 7pm, and she usually wakes up anytime between 7am and 9am... I'm worried that when we put her in a big girl bed in the next few weeks she will be all over her room playing in the night.. I would wait awhile longer on the big girl bed but she is already 36 and half inches tall at 22 months and needs to come out for the safty guidelines so I'm told even though she dosent try to climb out. Have any Moms experienced this or have any advice? Thanks:)

My 19 month old has been crying (not just her tantrums as asked in another questions) but it just seems to come out of no where.

Like the other day daddy or I just looked at her and she burst into tears! We were both puzzled by her outburst. A few nights she woke up crying and often continues to after we pick her up. THe other night she woke up crying and I walked with her, talked with her, and rocked her. She would stop for a few minutes and then start wimpering and crying again.

If we ask her what is wrong we of course get no answer, she isn't talking much, but we still ask.

I try everything change her diaper, put orajel on her gums (I think she is still cutting molars), and even given her something to drink (a yogurt smoothie the other night seem to do the trick).

Am I just not getting it or is there isn't anything "to get" (as if THAT made since)?

Thanks!

I have a 19 month old that is getting into everything! Normal, I know, but nothing helps Anything in her out of her reach is her target, she is CLIMBING. Any suggestions on how to make her STAY in time out? Hand smacking and even a pop on the butt doesn't do ANYTHING except make her do a high pitch scream and then start wailing like I just threw her across the room. Time out seems like the only other solution and I hope it works.

Terrible twos are starting early and I don't see it letting up anytime soon! LOL!

What can I do to get my son off the pacifier? My oldest daughter was on hers till she was 3 and now has teeth problems..and will need braces this coming year(she's 8), my second(dd)..didn't really become addicted to them..so it was easy to get her off at 10 months old. But my son is showing a love of his pacifiers like his oldest sister and not showing any signs of wanting to toss them. I'm able to keep them away during the day(while he's awake) with no problem..he might have a fit here and there..but usually forgets about them. But when its nap time and bedtime, he knows he needs his pappies. Any suggestions? Or should I just let him be? I'm just worried about his teeth as they are becoming shaped like his oldest sisters. He only uses the gerber bulb pacifier..they look like a round rubber bulb on them. He will not take the orthodontic kind or the silicone type...just like my oldest did. My second daughter used the orthodontic type and didn't like the bulb type.

My daughter is turning two on October 29th. Last year, we did an outdoor party at a recreational park that had a really cool fireplace. It was nice, but outdoor is out of the question this year, since it'll probably be too cold, although my daughter really loved it anyway.

Chuck E. Cheese is too expensive and impersonal, so I want to avoid anything like it.

Any good, origional suggestions?

My 1 year old daughter, Maeve, refuses to drink anything from a sippy cup. I have a couple different types, but each time I give her one, she has absolutely no interest in it. What would you suggest?
