There are a lot of kids gyms that will let you rent out space for an afternoon. Contact them and they'll allow the kids to play on the equipment -- the rooms are usually brightly colored and fun. Around where I live, the gyms are called Kids Zones.

Well, if you tried outdoor...how about indoor? A warm, safe family get-together to celebrate the birthday with music, dancing, and family warmness. You can even put a theme to the birthday party like Dora the Explorer or Blues Clues. Here's a website for the top 10 birthday tips: http://www.kidsource.com/kidsource/content5/birthday.party.html Hope this helps.

well try doing a Halloween theme. Maybe plan outdoors but do things that you can do inside if it is too cold. like a costume party and do some scavenger hunting or do a art project of things they can find in the fall. It really depends on how many kids you plan on having. you could also watch a kids Halloween movie in between activities or will you get food ready.

(costumer party) she will be Cinderella and then all the kids will be dressed up but not as Cinderella I hope that sound like fun. Have your baby pick out her favorite character and dress her up. Every years but my babys birthday I dress her up as something for atleast and hour during the party.
1st was Strawberry Shortcake
2nd was a Fairy Butterfly
3rd was Dora
and i take her to take some proffecional pictures and then give then to her friends.

The rule for twos is keep it simple. Overstimulating environments and too many people just lead to overtired, cranky children and that leads to tantrums. Avoid this by letting your little girl enjoy her birthday with just a few loving relatives. Actually, twos aren't really playing with each other that much anyway - they participate in parallel play (playing near each other) but not really in shared play like older children.
Have a bubble party - a little bottle of bubble solution for everyone to blow outside - she will love that. Have fun. (and I sure agree about Chuckie Cheese :-)

You should keep it simple and only invite family and really close friends. You could have it somewhere outside, or even your home. But you could make it fun by tying in a halloween. Pumpkin carving is always fun for younger kids. Have it be a BYOP and Walmart sells carving kits and stencils if you want to get really professional. Also you can make it a costume party! Have fun just relax.

At two, the kids aren't going to appreciate Chuck E. Cheese much anyway. They'd have more fun if you rented out a room, or hosted it at home. Put out large sheets of blank paper with lots of crayons, toss in some puzzles, etc. They should have a blast.

i suggest that you have the party at your own house and order entertainment. for example, you can ask a clown to come and blow up balloons and put on a little show. the little kids love it. or you could ask a magician to come, and it's great because he asks for volunteers and really gets the kids involved. it isn't very expensive either to get these forms of entertainment.

just a small family cake get together. no sense spending money on anything big, since at 2, they wont even remember the day tomorrow.
just have family over, have cake, coffee, and talk. maybe some decoration to spiff things up, but i would wait until at least 5 for any "special" birthday ideas.
