we live in a house which is surrounded by woodland, when my little boy is outside playing with his cousin, he tends to pee wherever he is (on a tree ect.). My husband doesnt see this as a problem as we have very secluded grounds, but as he is due to start school next week im worried about him at playtime?
Any advice or tips please?

medical and physio help isn't great where we live - all the dr's say just wait and see - , he has brain damage but no-one can tell us how any of it does or will affect him, we are flying blind right now, my kid is also deaf now and has lost all of his speech, i would really like suggestions from anyone who has heard of similar situations because right now i am doing everything i can -massage physio exercises trying to learn and teach signing etc - but my son's life is horrendous and i need to help him get mobile again so that he can have some kind of life, he is trapped in his own head waiting for other people to guess what he needs all the time, i think he must be very lonely and frustrated. I don't believe in wait and see i think he needs serious help now i just wish i knew what i was doing or had some experts on hand or the money to get my son to a brain injury specialist or something. This is a parent's worst nightmare and i feel utterly helpless for my poor child. Any ideas?

I have twin 2 yr olds (almost 3) and 11 month old. We use double stroller and baby bjorn to go out by myself but I think that 11 month old is too big and it might be easier to use a triple stroller. Any recommendations?

He doesn't use it at school for a while now but insists he needs it at home to sleep. I have tried everything: giving it to the babies in need at the farm, leaving it for the tooth fairy. I've even tried sabotaging it. It's ripping and I'm afraid he will choke one night. I refuse to buy him a new one in hopes that this one actually does break. Nice, not nasty, suggestions please. What worked for you?

Hi I have a 3 year old daughter who has separation anxiety. She crieds everytime she goes to the babysitter everytime she goes even after two months. Now my babysitter called me and said she can no longer watch her because she needstoo much attention. I know she cries when we are gone but I dont know what I can do about it and it isnt the first time someone doesnt want to watch her. It makes me so sad because she is sweet but just scared to be in other peoples houses without me. I am in school and work but I am so tired of this situation and feel so helpless. Does anyone have any advice?

My 4 yr old does not want to sleep in her bed. Once in a blue moon she will if I lay there with her until she falls asleep. Otherwise she wants to sleep in my bed. I feel like I have tried everything but sometimes when I am so tired I just give in and let her sleep with me. Any advise on how to get her in her own bed that is fast and affective?

Please help, I've tried all I can think of. My 1 year old has a VERY sensitive gag relfex and he chocked on a piece of bread and vomited in his stroller at a resteraunt. So when we got home, i used a whole bottle of clorox wipes to wipe all the rest of it out that I couldn't get out with the cheap napkins at the resteraunt. I've sprayed it with Febreze and Lysol 4 times now and it still smells like vomit. Does anyone else have a better idea to get rid of the smell? Please help!

Hi,
My daughter is tiny. just 24 pounds at 3 1/2 years old. good weight to height ratio. My husband is vietnamese, and many of his sisters are only maybe 100 lbs. She also has a milk and soy allergy- we found out when she turned 3, so I think that made a difference as well. Now she is eating a milk and soy free diet. Not being able to give her milk, I give her rice milk fortified with calcim and juice with calcium. What else is good to help her grow? She eats broccoli, meat, peanut butter and everything really. But eats like a bird. Takes me hours to feed her and playing games to get her to eat. It's exhausting. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My son is potty trained, at least for peeing. But, he hasn't had a BM since Monday. He's eaten nothing but fruit today, and still no poop. Dr. recommended a suppository, and amazingly he held on to that too! Talk about anal retentive! Help Please!

Not to be a subsitute for real parenting, but I was always against TV. Lately my daughter has been watching Dora - sort of a lot of Dora because I have been busy with an infant and out of the blue she knows all of her shapes and colors and we really never worked on those. I figured out that she learned it from Dora, so now I wonder what is the downside? We don't watch the commericals and she usually doesn't watch more than 2 episodes a day.

My godchild and his brother have been living with me since May. Well it's that time again for school and my godchild started Pre-K. and his brother is in 3rd grade. They see each other for lunch everyday and then my godchild starts to cry because he misses his brother. What can I do to maybe help him. I have done sitting down with him and telling him that it will be ok and that he will see his brother on the bus but it did not work. Is there anything I can do or he will just have to get over it himself.

My son is 18 months and I have a daughter who is 3. My daughter is potty trained. My son wants to sit on the potty only with his diaper on. If I should take the diaper off he will not sit on. Is he just to young for me to start potty training or should I just let him sit on the potty with the diaper on. Is he just not ready to be potty trained or is he?
