My son has a thing for womens breasts! He always wants to touch and grab mine and he tells me I have nice bo-bo's (thats what he calls them). They other day we were sitting on the couch while I was feeding his 2 month old sister.......and I bottle feed her.......I never breast fed her.......he started squeezing my breasts and he was all giggily about it and saying "Mommy your bo-bo's" I feel weird cause why is my son grabbing up on me and I have no clue why.........its just weird and embarassing.......he did it to my mom too and it front of people he wants to touch them........we were even in church talking to the pastor about baptizing our baby and out of the blue he just comes up to me and tried to grab me.....I WAS SO EMBARASSED but I think I stopped him in time before the pastor realized what he was trying to do! What do I do? Or am I doing something wrong?

My son is going to be 3 soon, he goes to a daycare. I am being advised that I should start thinking of putting him in a preschool, how different is it than a daycare, how much does it help the kid?

I had his pictures taken at JC Penny's when he was born, 6 months, 1 year and next week he'll be 18 months. Should I get the 18 month pictures taken or wait for one year? I'm not sure what "most" people do. I think he's still young enough that he's changing so much it would be worth it. But at the same time he's our first so we have a million pictures of him already!

My daughter is 13 months old and has been going to this great little Lutheran daycare near my work. This is 35 miles from my home and it feels good having her close by in case anything happens. I don't have any concerns about the care of her except sometimes I feel like she is being left to her own devices as if sometimes they might not have a lot of extra time to give to each child. It costs a lot more too - 210/week.
My dilemma is that I have been on a waiting list for over a year to get into this at-home daycare near my house and now there's an opening. It is set up as a little school inside a home and it really quaint with all the amenities of a bigger one. They have weekly themes and 'lesson plans', outdoor playground, 4-1 ratio, PAID food...It's also cheaper - saving us 150/month plus the savings from food. I'm just not sure if I should switch. They have a 5:30 pm pick up time policy and we both have to drive a long way to get there from work. Not sure it's worth the stress

I have always bought Columbia snowsuits for my son. We live in Nebraska and the wind makes it very cold in the winter. I really like Columbia because of the techtonite they are sooo light-weight. Like a jacket weight but it keeps him very warm. My problem with them is that they zip from leg cuff to leg cuff and I have a terrible time keeping them zipped. I use a safety pin, but that is such a pain. I'm looking for a lightweight snowsuit that maybe has built-in gaitors or maybe just some gaitors to go over a snowsuit, but I really want it to be lightweight. He is 5 and average size. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Is it normal that some days you just don't take your toddler anywhere. I am pregnant and just don't feel like going anywhere or feel like spending money so we stay in the whole day. He gets whiny and I have him do some activities like paint, play with play doh and play with shavign cream but I just can't get myself to leave the house some days.

My husband works in Law Enforcement, so he keeps odd hours. In order for us to eat and spend time together as a family, we allow our daughter to stay up late sometimes. Recently she has refused to go to bed until after 10 or even 11pm! I am exhausted by this hour, and end up sleeping in late as well. Who has a toddler who's a night owl? What can I do to get her on a better schedule? Mom's and Dad's, What kind of schedule is your child on?

I think it may have been a local thing (in Toronto?). I remember it being in the mornings and they would hold up a card or drawing or picture (whatever the viewer sent in with the info) and wish Happy Birthday to that person from whoever. I think y'all get the idea right? Anyway, anyone remember what station it was?

We just returned from the doctor, and I took my 3 year old daughter because she has a frequent urge to urinate. I assumed he would say a urinary tract infection, but he said it is the start of a yeast infection. Can that cause frequent urination?

Instead of talking, he imitates words by making sounds. I know that's normal, but the thing is that he has been doing this for over a year and seems to be stuck. It's very difficult for him also to allow people to get close to him. On top of all that, he screams and cries a lot. And with a lot, I mean a LOT! I am worried. Do you think he's retarded or something? Help!

I need ideas for something that is not messy, and that is not easy to choke on. And that doesn't require refrigeration, since they don't have a fridge for lunches at daycare. Thanks

1. If I want it its mine.
2. If I give it to you and change my mind later, its mine.
3. If i can take it away from you its mine.
4. If i had it a little while ago its mine.
5. If its mine, it will never belong to anyone else, no matter what.
6. If we are building something together, all the peices are mine.
7. If it looks just like mine, it is mine..

I have a two year old daughter and every time she gets mad about something, she starts to scream and she has this shrill scream that makes you cringe! I think i've tried just about everything I can think of to break the screaming habit but nothing seems to be working! Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do that might end this horrible phase?

My daughter (19 months old) refuses to be fed, but recently I will give her something to eat and she will take two bites and then give it back to me. Then she will ask for more food (in baby sign, she isn't talking much) so I will give her the food back. She gives it back, so I decide to try and feed her. First she will turn her head away and when I say PLEASE she will turn her head towards me with her eyes closed. She will stick her tongue out and lick the food first and then open her mouth and eat it. Each bite is the same, eyes closed, tongue out, lick and then eat. It is weird, did your toddler do this?

Funny too! LOL!
