it's okay, to give her some orange juice.
Like half of her bottle/glass then pour it in.
And for you that is worry sick, after drinking her orange juice.
Tell her that she only drinks orange juice one a day, and how you are protecting her for care. maybe she might understand.

Orange juice is a morning favorite and one of the most nutritious beverages available. An excellent source of vitamin C and potassium, orange juice also is a good source of folate and thiamin.
6 ounces per day of juice is good for 1-4 year olds. If a child usually consumes more than the daily-recommended amount of juice, dilute the juice with water. The water has the sweet taste of juice while allowing the appropriate amount of juice intake throughout the day.
Juices with a high fructose-to-glucose ratio and that contain sorbitol can aggravate the intestines, especially those already sensitive by irritation or infection. Citrus juices and some other juices (strawberry, raspberry, blackberry and white grape juice) do not contain sorbitol and are recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Committee on Nutrition for use during intestinal illnesses.

Yes, it will be fine for your daughter to have orange juice at 2 years old. Buy the pulp-less variety, most 2 year olds prefer it because of the texture thing with pulp. OJ with added calcium is also available. Dilute the juice 1/2 and 1/2 with water or even 1/4 juice and 3/4 water. Also offer her fresh oranges as well. If you have Clementine oranges in your area, they are great for kids as they are small, peel easily and are naturally sweet. Vitamin C is an important vitamin for us all to have and citrus fruits are an excellent source for it.

My daughter is 3 years old. She just started having orange juice. My mother in law (who's very old fashion) always told me NEVER give her orange juice. I'm sure the acid in it would have some effect on a young persons stomach but now that she is 3 she wanted to try it and she loves it. Mind you she doesn't drink it everyday. I say talk to your paediatrician, although it's always mother instinct that works best. You know your child better than the doctor.

It's fine! Pour her a 6 oz. cup of orange juice.
I perfer Simply Orange- Pulp Free Orange Juice
with calcium. It's perfect for anybody that's her age
and older! I plan on doing that when my 8 month old
turns 2 years old. I'll even drink it while I have her lil

Try an orange juice & fruit blend first, with some water. My kids drink the tropical orange v8 fusion with some water and they like it. They are almost 3. Good luck!

Of course it is okay. Give a small glass of O.J. and if she complains about a belly ache, water it down a bit. Orange juice is great for kids!
