Sure I can explain it. She's a funny kid! Their thinking is quite concrete at that age - very focused on cause and effect. If her legs are hurting, there must be a reason. She probably knows by now that we eat food to help our bodies grow and move. Applying that logic, if the last thing she put into her body before her legs hurt was chicken, then that must be what caused it. Same for the cheeze doodle pee and h2o headache.
Oh, and as for the snotty answers on here about her being allergic, a snot, hypochondriac or attention seeker, know that those people clearly don't have kids of their own (thank God for small favors) and therefore do not possess a freaking clue as to what they are talking about. That's really nice to tell a mom who you don't know that she doesn't have a handle on her daughter who is doing nothing more than being a normal kid. Did it make all of you feel better to be so ignorant? Ignore those losers, hon. Jeez this board ticks me off sometimes.

Sounds like she has a very big imagination and that maybe she is trying to get some attention. Everything that she is saying these things cause are some type of medical problem. I would say vying for attention.

Sounds weird, take her to a doctor for a check up and tell him what she is saying. She may have allergies, but it may be she is picking up on what other kids in her class told her. Check it out for your own peace of mind.

Kids use excuses just like adults do. My daughter is 4 and tells me that dinner annoys her.........Unless of course it is pizza or hot dogs........ They think if they can justify it like they hear adults justify things that we will understand. Until then dinner is just annoying at my house!

well you have a pretty smart kid to be thinking of all those excuses but maybe you should tell her okay then we have to go to the doctor and if she says no or forgets then maybe nothing is wrong and shes just really smart but if it continues go to the doctor
