My son saw this video and he can't stop crying????

Question

He saw this video on Youtube and now he is crying he hasnt stopped since 4. He won't speak to me. All he said was he is scared by some parts. He went onto my computer without my permission, and he somehow found this video. Can you tell me what he is afraid of, and what I should tell him????

did you watch the video?? i only watched the first two minutes and a building is blown up and the voice over said that people were still in....tell him it was a staged demolition and the building was empty....the second one a kid was hit by a car....tell him it was just a commerical to stop drinking and driving...the rest was taking to long to buffer so i didn't watch it.

You didn't state his age. The internet can be a frightening and violent place. It's almost impossible to even imagine what he saw. You may try checking your history folder, maybe it's still there. Actually, I found parts of it quite funny.
Bottom line: you need to monitor your child's activities a little more closely and especially keep him off the computer until he's
old enough to be responsible for what he watches.

I'd say you need to watch what your son is up to, he could have seen anything. I hope you can talk to him and that he can get through this, I dunno how old he is but as a parent it's part of our job to protect our children till they learn to protect themselves.

how old is this kid? there's stuff on there that scares me. all you can do is sit him down and explain to him that bad things happen in this life, there's no way around it.

if he is scared talk about it with him. my daughter(3yr.) is scared of dinosaurs and although i know she has nothing to worry about it is a fear of hers so if we see them on tv she gets upset and i talk to her and try to take her mind off it and then we play a game of candyland. she gets better.
