both her parents are doctors and she has everthing in the world. I am low income single parent of three, what kind of a gift do you bring that dosen't cost alot, but has great meaning? Although her parents have money, she is a very humble child. Last year I bought her brother a telescope for his b-day and he is still enjoying it.

get a bubble machine. It'll be the hit of the party. I think you can get them for around $12 or so.

gift certificates to movies, Ice cream, museums, baby gyms. Supplies for preschool. Wal-mart always have sale on markers, crayons, paper. You could get a backpack, with a lunch box, and supplies in it, or put books in it. Go to a local Li bray and see if they have a store that sells marked down books. Our library in Rancho cucamonga ca has one and we buy all our daughters books there from 25 cents to 1.00. Get a hat or t-shirt personalized(10-15 bucks). Winter p.j's. Good luck and have fun. It's the thought that counts, not the price.

My daughter is 3 and she likes My Little Ponies, she can't get enough of them. We had a whole herd! They are inexpensive, around $8 to $12. She also LOVES stickers, you could get some stickers and some paper. I have found the least expensive gifts are usually their favorites at that age. Have fun at the party!

Get her a savings bond - a $50 bond costs $25. You'll be investing in her future - PLUS her parents just might appreciate not getting more "stuff". If you think she needs to have something tangible to have - then get her something little from the dollar store (my kids LOVE things from the dollar store) or take along some balloons.

Do you want to impress the child or the parents? They really sound like nice people.I think they would appreciate anything. As far as a three year old....dress up clothes and shoes, doodle pad, remote control car(even for girls),oh there are so many things for young girls! Have some fun with it! I think a disposable camera just for her and money to develop it would be really neat.Best Wishes!!!♥

How about an origami kit? A three year old isn't usually able to that by themselves, but if you practice, you can show them how to do a couple. And it would be cool time spent with the parents learning something new, no?

i would say a telescope is a fantastic gift--so you did great for that one. ;-)
i like to make homemade gifts, because they mean more and are one of a kind.
since she is only 3, she will probably like anything..lol. i would take the kids to your local hobby/craft store and pick out a project gift and make it for her. it will be cheap and fun! especially if you go down the kids aisle.
when in doubt, get some neat coloring books and markers/crayons. all kids love to color!
good luck and have fun. ;-)
