OK... So I wanted to be the "joiner" mom at my daughters new school. I volunteered to manage the class project that is to be actioned off at the schools major fund raiser Gala. I need ideas for a really nice (think will make lots of money at auction) class project that would not be too difficut for a 4 year old class to complete by Sept. 22. HELP! I have no flipping idea what to do.

Rock painting is fun and easy. You could also do a colored sand or bean jar. Have about 5 different colors of sand or 5 different types of beans and have the children layer them in the jar. Put the lid on when finished and tie it with a pretty ribbon. You can also do cookies in a jar. The children can layer all of the dry needed ingredients in a large jar (flour, baking soda, oatmeal, chocolate chips...). Print out a recipe card. Tie a ribbon around the lid with the recipe card. The children in my preschool classroom have had great success making all of these things. Good luck!

Have the class use fabric pens to draw on squares of material and use the squares to make a quilt. Frame individual squares for pictures to hang on the wall.

Have the kids model in their favorite costumes. Then put the pics together and form a collage. Or sell the photography of them doing funny poses.

what i saw looked easy: take tiles white in color in three different sizes, small med. large
all you do is have them choose the color marbles (4) to be hot glued by you(not the child)
on each corner of the tile
when finished all three, they were stacked...large, med. small on top of each other..........
well? It looked easy and pretty...or you could come up with your own idea of the type of marbles and colors you can use. Arts and Crafts stores Cary tons of different types of marbles and in many colors.

well this may seem like and older idea but... make musical insterments and have a marching band. it lets them be creative plus unleashes some of that bottled energy that we all wish we had.
