They have grown out of their old one--I can't turn it anymore b/c they are too heavy for it. I don't care if it's the tandem ones or side-by-side. I just need something that I can take into a store or go for a walk in & be able to steer. I've seen the jogging strollers but they just look to bulky & heavy. I would greatly appreciate any help with this. All I'm finding are strollers that have a 37 pound max. Oh & I've tried the umbrella strollers that you connect but that makes the stroller too wide & I couldn't even get it through the door at the post office!! augh!! Please help! THANK YOU!!

I have been weaning her from the breast for a week and a half . We went down from 6 -8 feedings a day to 2 a day . I think she is angry with me . Sometimes when she pinches or bites me I have discovered that she needs a diaper change , other times I can't find anything she needs or wants . At times I am even on the floor playing with her when she strikes ! I know this could just be a phase....... I have started putting her in time out for 30 seconds to 1 minute . sometimes she just does it again right away .
My daughter is very prococious , smart , and very advanced for her age . She has NEVER done any of these things when we are out of the house . I am a full time stay at home Mom , so we are at the park and library a lot. She gets plenty of fresh air daily . I'm at a loss of what to do . Does she just not like being at home ? Any ideas ? Help !

She insists on her mom filling feed bags with cereal and popcorn and strapping them to her face at meals. This is hard to explain when company is over. She also begs her brother to sit on her back so she can take him to places around the house. At first we didn't pay much attention, until she cried and cried because we wouldn't allow her to **** in the backyard. She draws pictures of "herself" and says her real name is Nellie. We're sick of her answering us by whinnying. Is this acceptable or is she just a little freak?

My son doesnt listen at all. I know they are terrible 2s but man oh man it has gone way too far. I am nice about it, sometimes (most of the time) I yell at him, I put him in the corner, or spank his butt. Nothing is working. He does have a 5 yr old brother but he is such a good boy. Then he does have a 4 month old sister too. Do you think he is angry or something? I catch him always playing on the stairs or jumping off stairs. I tell him no, I make him do it again, etc. He basically just laughs at me. I need some help!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is 22 months old and has a lot of bladder control already. She started doing 'peepee' on the potty in January and it was a slow go, but now she is doing extremely well. Most times her pull ups are dry during the day and she goes on the potty, she can go almost every night without an accident and can wait until the morning when she wakes up to go on the potty.

However, she never wants to do 'poopie' on the potty. I ask her to tell me when she has to do it, but she never does, she tells me as soon as she poops in her pullup, but how do I get her to tell me right before? Is this something that will come naturally over time or do I need to do something differently to help her along?

Any tips on how to keep her busy?

She will take more than an hour on a regular basis to eat dinner, no matter what we serve--even favorites. Unless we feed her, or stand over her instructing her on each bite, she just dilly dallys the time away. Tried removing distractions, different dining locations, sibling peer-pressure, solo dinner, no desert, time-out, .... Had no such issues with the older kid.

I don't notice other children her age doing this. She chews up all of her toys, books, everything that she puts her hands on ends up in her mouth. She has even chipped the edge of her front tooth because of this.

Should I be concerned ?

My daughter will wake up at night to pee but when I can tell she has to do a BM she will go off by herself and do it in her underwear. If I ask her to try the potty she does not want to. She seems afraid to do BMs and sometimes they are hard and there is a small amount of blood in them. Tried the rewards system but she is still afraid to do BMs. Also trying to alter diet enough so that BMs are not so hard but seems she associates BMs with pain now. Any help/ideas greatly appreciated...

I have been posting so many questions regarding my son & his fussiness & let me tell you being a parent is the HARDEST thing ever! I guess as a mother I just wish everything was black & white, when he fussed I could fix it immediately, but I get scared about the fussing because what if something IS actually wrong even the dr says nothing is. He will be SOOO good for like a long period of time on some days he wont even fuss once and he's like an angel then other days its from the moment he gets out of his crib until the moment he goes to bed (and he always has the same sleep schedule so its not because hes tired) but lately he has had some diarhea and diaper rash from that, and he doesnt want to eat much, when you pick him up he pushes away, when you put him down he clings to my leg for dear life, he pushes his toys and his sippy cup away, but he sleeps great at night and most people say if they're sick they wont sleep thru the night. I just feel like I should be helping him, but how

We are weaning my son from the bottle (13 months), (he's down to 1 bottle a day) but he refuses to take milk from sippy cup so he is basically drinking juice all day long and has begun to get diarhea. Im hoping its only from the juice and not something else so I have started him on gatorade today, but I wanted to know
1. Will juice cause the poops
2. How can I get him to take milk
3. have any of you experienced the same thing

My son is 13 months old and I swear he seems like he's never happy. I really try to be a "good" parent by the books. We go for walks, we go to the park, we play inside and outside, I read books and I give him his space too. But it seems like he's always walking around aimlessly fussing. He has been checked for ear infections and he's all clear and he has 12 teeth so I cant imagine him cutting anymore right now, have any of you had this with your children? what do I do?

How soon should I potty train my 15 month old? Daddy suggested taking his diaper off and rushing to the bathroom when baby starts pooping. Would this work? Any other ideas?

i have bought at least 3 different types of potty seats for her, as advised other parents, but either she is scared of that, or she is more comfortable doing it in standing. She plays with her seats like other toys, but will not use that for the purpose. what to do?

If I bring my child anywhere he throws fits. If he doesn't get his way he screams. It's almost like I dont know if it's worth it. It's embarassing for him, my husband and myself to do anything with him. Will he grow out of this or do I continually take him out even though he screams? The only time when I can go to a store w/ him is if he has snacks and his juice. He is a very routine kid. Do I wait it out and not take him places or do I let people just stare at me. I am an at home mom that gets tired of being home all the time w/ my son and just would love to take him places but I cant due to his behavior. Please help!!!!!!!

My daughter is 4 and will not be starting Kindergarten until Sept of '07. I have been homeschooling her a preschool curriculum to get her up to speed with other kids her age.

My main problem is that she can't pronounce her "R's".
Ex: Car = Caw, Run= Wun, River= Wival

I think its adorable, especially when she tells me an entire story with her "accent".

I have always figured that she will outgrow it, and once she begins school, they will correct it.

Recently, several people have told me that she needs therapy. I have been told that I should correct her when she says things incorrectly- but if I do that, she gets irritated and says "I did say caw (car). You dont heaw(hear) me wight (right)."

Should I correct it now, or should I wait until she starts school? She is my last baby :( so I am in no rush for her to grow up and I think its sooo cute.

Any advice?
