Do you guys have the same things we have in America (Cheerios, Goldfish, Cheez-Its, fruit and grain bars, etc.)? Also, who wants to send me a box of Hob Nobs? I'll exchange a few boxes of those for a very active 28 month old!!

Me & my husband have changed the way we speak in front of him but he continues to cuss. I have tried to ignore it because everyone says to but that isn't working. Do I punish with time out, pop him in the mouth or what??? Any suggestions from anyone who has gone thru this before will be appreciated.

My little girl is almost three and I actually think she's trying to hold back from going. Any ideas on how to get her to go regulary? Someone told me Karo syrup works but didn't say how much. Any input would be great.

Ok, the first time I asked, everyone read my question wrong. I want to know which time of day is better for children to learn. Morning, or afternoon? My daughter begins kindergarten this fall and I have the choice between a morning class that starts around 8:30, and an afternoon class that starts at 12:15. Please give me your input as to how your children have done with learning if they are in morning or afternoon kindergarten. I think my daughter will do fine either way....I'm just wondering other parents' opinions!

My twins were 6 weeks early and relatively healthy. They are 1 1/2 years now and smaller than other kids their size (daughter wears 9-12 mth clothes). She also is just now starting to walk. However, in other areas they are on track with kids their age. My husband and I are both teachers and coaches, so academic and athletic success are also a considerations.

My little one has never taken to playing independently. She will cling to my leg with every step, move with me from room to room, but will not play by herself. She is very intelligent, and has wonderful toys. she will play if I or someone else plays with her.

My five-year-old son is a sweet, cute, healthy kid. He's doing great in preschool and seems academically well-prepared to start kindergarten in September.

There's something about him that bothers me, though - he seems to act immature, even compared with kids around his age. He sometimes lapses into babytalk around his friends (I just caught him doing it this morning with another five-year-old boy, who then teased him for sounding like a baby). I've heard another child call him on this behavior a few months ago.

Also, he has a pretty explosive temper. He doesn't hit or bite other children, but he will scream at other children when he's unhappy with them and become physically aggitated (he's about 4 feet tall despite only being 5, so he must be scary-looking to some of the other kids).

To make things worse, I think some of his pre-school buddies, the boys especially, have taken to pushing his buttons just to watch him react and this makes him desolve into tears. Ideas?

She is the only child. I spoiled her with going to bed with her when she was younger. She wouldn't sleep without me. Now it's a little better, but she still gets up 2 or 3 times in the night crying for me to sleep with her. It's to the point where I have to set two alarm clocks- one in my room and the other in hers- because I never know where I'll end up. It's starting to wear me down- correction- it's been wearing me down. I have tried taking suggestions from Super Nanny- putting her to bed on her own. The first night, I counted 36 times getting up and putting her to bed. The next night was 18. I went to her Doctor and put her on nighttime meds to relax her to go to sleep. I just can't break her out of the getting up all hours of the night looking for moma.

I am having the hardest time trying to get my little girl to lay down and go to bed at night. She is use to sleeping with me...... my fault, I know. But, up until this point, I have been to lazy to get up and put her in her own bed at night. I have another baby due in October and I need to get my little girl to sleep in her toddler bed, by herself. She likes her bed, it's a princess bed, but she just wants me to hold her all night. It's driving me crazy!!! Please help!

I told my son since he doesn't have a lot of parties, he could invite 10 of his 4-6 year old friends over and have pop corn, drinks and a movie. Any suggestions? Not too old, that they'd see it a million times because that wouldn't be fun.

I have a 2 yr old. I am at a loss what to do. He would only want me to hold him all the time. If i don't, he screams. He would also wake up like 3 times a night a just cry and ask me to hold him. Why would he be doing that? I'm exhausted. Any similar experiencies. Thank you

(And I don't need any comments that are off-topic, like, "Well maybe she wants to be out of it." Productive answers only, please)

I still need to keep her "contained" at times while I do dishes or laundry - she's walking, but not well enough for me to let her wander without me being right there watching.

We don't have a traditional high chair - just a small one that ties down to a chair and she's miserable in that. I don't like to use the Pak N Play because I nanny 3 days a week and when we'd go to their house and I had her playing in it, she gave me a hard time about napping in it. When I quit putting her in it to play, she started taking naps much easier in it.

I'm stumped. Does anyone know any tricks or products that I'm not familiar with?
