i buy baby carrots, celery, grapes, etc, any fresh fruits and veggies i know the kids will eat. ( if they have never tried make them at least take one bite, if they spit it out or dont like try again in a month or two) i fix the veggies and fruits(cutting, washing, etc) and put them in the snack size ziplock baggies. i buy individual containers of caramel, ranch dressing, etc. put it the fridge in the bottom drawer. show the child that this is "their" snack drawer. let them get in and out as they please. buy cute little dishes and even picinic baskets or lunch boxes just for them. when you include them in all this preparation and make it seem "way cool and fun" and make over how healthy the snacks are and how it benefits them. tell him to take a bite of an apple then have him show you his muscles. make it a big deal that they are making good choices. kids love to know that they are doing great things that are fun and just for them. ants on a log is always a favorite(peanut butter and raisins on celery) all these are a great way to get your toddler and yourself into making good choices for what you eat!!

If he likes eggs, you can make a veggie omlet, just smother with low-fat cheese and violia!

Also, I have made veggie milkshakes, put veggies in a blender and you can use ice cream. If you blend it well enough, you cannot taste veggies and it will be smoothe.

purchase pretend chopped liver. it truly is made with squash, spinach, broccoli, mushrooms and really egg, yet tastes clone of chopped liver. Or, make a chicken pot pie. an basic thanks to make it truly is saute the chicken breasts, upload onion, pepper, and a kit of mixed vegetables. prepare dinner for roughly 5 minutes then upload chicken broth mixed with milk and corn starch. conceal and prepare dinner for roughly twenty better minutes, or till broth has thickened. in the period in-between practice a kit of biscuits contained in the oven and serve on the aspect. it truly is scrumptious and individuals devour it up with out determining the vegetables are hidden contained in the sauce. I put chopped green peppers, onions, tomato, and celery in my chili. My kids love it.

You can try adding mixed veges. to flavored rice.

Or veges. in cheese, like you make broccoli and cheese.

Try the celery with peanut butter and raisens.

If he likes eating corn (like my kids) give him corn-on-the-cob. We eat a lot of corn at my house.

Also, I make stuffed peppers with tomato paste and diced tomatos....you could add other veges to it.
