One will scream (playing) the other will scream...or the other way around. They are 5 and 1...and I think they are both nuts! HAHAH!

Mine are almost eleven, four and two. The oldest will do something sneaky to encourage the two-year old to scream. Then the four-year old will scream and cover his ears because the little one is being so loud. That encourages the two-year old to scream because she thinks it's a contest. Then the ten-year old yells at both of them to be quiet. It's a lovely cycle. Your kids aren't crazy; but they're certainly working on driving you that way.

Yes, they are kids and being kids. If you want them to stop, then set up a consequence for using an inappropriate voice in the house and follow through on it. The older child will eventually help set an example for the younger one to follow, but give it enough practice time. Be consistent.

There was a time when parents would stop such behavior. Now they think it's "cute". Elementary schools are filled with students screaming their heads off all day. Let me assure you that teachers do not think it's cute.

Yes all kids are nuts. Yes i know, I'm only 15(not really a kid) nut I'm nuts. But hey we are kids, well grow out of it!!!

I never let my son scream, it's annoying, the neighbors hate it and it's very bad etiquette. I'll do the same with my daughter too.

I have 4 year-old twins and they do this all the time. Yes, it drives me crazy but they're just kids! :-)

Hahahaha! Just enjoy it now. They will not be that way for long. I know the noise can be irritating but the fact that they are there is heartwarming, isn't it? :)
