I live in quite a rough area and was gob smacked by the behaviour of the kids in my street, they are horrid. their mums are too, effin and blindin at them all the time, they never get punished because that would mean they have to come in the house and get under their feet. Apparently they have ADHD surely aren't they just a product of their own upbringing, I dont think there is a straight forward test for this. One boy in question goes to bed with a can of coke and crisps and sweets, they go through litres of coke (their mum told me this) doesn't diet have a big thing in this.

My mates daughter shakes and the kids at school take the micky out of her. My mate doesn't want to take her to the doctors because she doesn't want to make an issue of it and she doesn't want her daughter to take any medicine for nerves etc. her daighter is 10 now but has been like this for about 6 years. We notice it when she is doing detailed colouring-in or trying to write really neatly.

We can't tell if it happens when she's nervous or anxious or if it's a medical condition.

Has anyone else come across this and if so, what was wrong with the kid? Did they grow out of it or did they need to see a doctor?

Hi everyone, I have a dilemma. Since we've moved to this small town 2 years ago, the mother of my child's classmate has bullied some teachers ("I'll have your job!") into giving her child extra credit so she can win all academic awards for highest grade in each subject (she was earning highest grades until my daughter started school here; they are both tied for highest GPA in their class and both ranked first out of 300 students). My daughter is devastated when this happens, and honestly, I am livid. Apparently this family is the talk of the town and their intimidation tactics have never been addressed by the school or other parents. Their child yells at teachers if she doesn't get the top grade, while my daughter is meek and modest (like me) and doesn't say a word. Both kids are competing to get into a prestigious school where past and present achievements are heavily weighed. How should I handle this situation so that I can stop feeling a slow burn every time I see these people?

Writing a research paper regarding cps removing children from the parents with no proof of abuse/neglect; money made off of adoption of the children; Does anyone know a reputable website that has information on cps victimizing good families with the intent to put the children in foster care/adoption to meet quotas.

Have heard that is more common for male euro children to use tights than in the U.S., maybe because is colder there.
We discussed it and want to settle the question.

My four year old seems to not want to use the bathroom. She knows she is supposed to, but she seems to be stubborn and not want to. She'll go all day without having accidents and then, out of the blue, pee/poop her pants or go on the floor. It's getting really annoying and we don't know what to do. We've tried bribing, pleading, talking, punishing, taking away toys, nothing works. Her older sister was so easy to potty train so this is rather new. It just seems like she doesn't care and we don't know why. My wife is a classroom mom with her sister in kindergarten. So she's been to kindergarten and when she peed her pants there, she seemed embarrassed but went right back to doing it again anyway. She can go all night without having an accident, then wake up in the morning and pee on the floor next to the bathroom like it's nothing. I just don't get it. :(

My cousin is due to have her first child in one month and she hasn't even bought one single item for the baby! I think that is absurd and shows a sign of neglect. What if she went into premature labor? What the hell would she even dress the kid in? How would she get the baby home without a car seat? I am really concerned about what type of mommy she will be... she doesn't seem like she is too happy to become a mommy at all!

My 9 year old son has been staying with my uncle for 2 weeks on holiday, my uncle has a 13 year old son, who has in the last year decided he wants to be a gangsta wannaB. Now I KNOW my son can be naughty and bad, i admit it. But since he has been home he has bullied younger children, stolen smokes, smoked ciggy's ( i smelt it on him) and lied about almost everything. Before he left he hated ciggys i gave up 6 months ago after he asked me to. He has never stolen before, he works for everything he wants pocket money wise. And he has always been good with younger and smaller children, looking after them, being really gentle. he has come home with a total mind make over Help How Do i Get my Son Back? My 13 Year old cousin now calls my 9 year old his prospector gang wannab.

My ex took my son for his first unsupervised visit yesterday. I gave him instructions on what he eats, I only give my son organic foods, I make all of his baby food, and he never eats sweets. My son came home covered in icing and when I asked what it was from, my ex told me that he had given my son a cinnamon roll, and then tried to tell me it's not big deal because cinnamon rolls do not have sugar in them (and he's in school to be a nurse!). I got upset with him for going against my instructions, and he said I was overreacting. I really don't think I was. I feel that whie I have the chance to influence my son on his eating habits, I should take advantage of it. Am I nuts for trying to keep him away from sugary foods?
